👏👏👏... I love all these scenes. Especially "I SAW YOU ERICA!!". When I saw that in the theatre the first time, I knew we had the Best Actress winner. Mind you, the movie released early in Summer of 2013.

I can write a thesis on each of these scenes. Cate is such a brilliant actress. I was sad she never won an Oscar for Elizabeth, but later she got two (Aviator, Blue Jasmine). BTW, I am looking forward to Carol, this year. She plays a Lesbian opposite Rooney Mara and is directed by Todd Haynes, who previously directed the sumptuous drama, Far From Heaven.

Another noteworthy scene from Jasmine is her last face to face with Sally. This is when she has had a fight with her bf, Dwight and she comes home an emotional wreck and feigns to her sister that she is moving in with Dwight and how she was good for his career, blah blah... You should watch her dialog delivery and body language. IT WAS SIMPLY OUT OF THE WORLD. I would have hung myself if she didn't win an Oscar for this role. 😆

It's a shame, although Ash has the regal look for pulling this role off, she fails in the acting department. She can never be my Neeli Chameli 😡... Damn you ARB!!!
