Sooraj Pancholi wants to romance Alia, Deepika

Sooraj Pancholi, who made his big Bollywood debut with "Hero", now wants to do a purely romantic film sans action scenes. And he'd love to have Alia Bhatt or Deepika Padukone as his on-screen love interest.

Sooraj Pancholi, who made his big Bollywood debut with "Hero", now wants to do a purely romantic film sans action scenes. And he'd love to have Alia Bhatt or Deepika Padukone as his on-screen love interest.

"I want to do a purely romantic film in which I don't have to do any action. Dance is okay, but don't want this body building and action", said Sooraj.

Asked which actresses would he want to romance on screen, Sooraj said: "Only two actresses -- Alia Bhatt and Deepika Padukone."

Sooraj and his "Hero" co-star Athiya were present together at Subhash Ghai's film institute to interact with the acting students.

Is mentioning Alia his way of saying he wants a Dharma movie? 😆.

He's mentioning the number one actress, and the young actress who's most popular today. Clever. I would be very surprised if he got a role opposite either of these within the next two or three years given the reviews and outcome of Hero. Certainly not with the kind of roles the two girls are doing. By then who knows if he'll even be around much.
