Hello and good evening my dearies! đ€ I am here with my brand new PrAja FF. This one is set in the 21st century as you all wanted. đ Hope you enjoy reading it and love it as much as i do writing it.
Also, i may remain a little inactive from now on but i will try to update whenever possible.Apologies in advance for late updates and not commenting on all of your stories. đ
Here comes the prologue-
PROLOGUE
A young man stood in the middle of a deserted highway looking rather desperate and restless. He shot a glance at his car which had broken down abruptly and refused to start. Then he moved his eyelids around but not a soul was in sight, as far as his eyes could see. Many a vehicle had passed by,sometime before in his failed attempts of getting a lift. As he looked at the far end of the road for one last time, he saw a knew ray of hope, another car and he decided not to let it go off his hands. He waved his hands vigorously and swiftly, so as to grab attention and this time the car did stop! Through the glass he could see a beautiful girl on the driver's seat-rather gentle and compassionate, he thought.
Man:Excuse me! Can i have a lift please?
Girl:Ss..sorry!? Ermm..
Man:Actually my car has broken down and i am in urgent need of a mechanic. So,can you please drop me at the nearest dhaba where i can find one.
Girl:Sure.Please get on.
Within no time, the man took his baggage from his car, flung them on the back seat of hers and occupied the seat next to her in the front. The very next moment, they were back on track, in lookout for the nearest restaurant.
Soon, an awkward silence crept in the car, each one of them, waiting for the other to break it ,until at last,the girl was overwhelmed by the lovely sight of the setting sun and spoke out excitedly.
Girl:Wow!Just look at the sunset. This looks so beautiful and it is so soothing to the eyes. The red sun in the horizon which itself seems to be covered in a pinkish blush.
It was only then that he noticed the scene and he couldn't stop himself from praising it too.
Man:You are right indeed! This is such a pleasant sight and seldom do we bother to notice,isn't it?
Girl:Yes,you are right.
He wanted to strike up a conversation with her but he couldn't as she again looked away and devoted all her concentration on the road and the car she was driving.
And before anyone of them could realize, they reached a restaurant.
Girl:Ss..So, here you are.This seems to be a perfect roadside restaurant. And you are sure to find what you are searching for-a mechanic to fix your car.
Man:Oh ya!
He got down and fetched his luggage back and then looked around himself. Finding a workshop nearby and satisfied,he opened his mouth to express his gratitude but before he could utter a word more, he realized that she had speeded away in her car and he was left alone standing, once again on the roadside.
