Today, the news about Ayushmann Khurrana replacing Imran khan in Ekta Kapoor's 'Bhoole Se Naam Na Lo Pyaar Ka' (earlier titled Milan Talkies) which is being helmed by Tigmanshu Dhulia, came as a rude shock to the latter. Imran was reading about his ouster like any other newspaper audience.
So when asked the current status, whether he was doing the film or not, Imran replied, ''Apparently not." Surprisingly, the actor is also clueless about the film's title being changed from 'Milan Talkies' to 'Bhoole Se Naam...'"I was also surprised by the new title. In my last conversation with Tigmanshu about a month-and-half-ago, I was told that the script was being fine-tuned and developed and he was tweaking the climax," said Imran.
He continued, "We were working on the script and casting but my focus then was on 'Katti Batti'. Now what happened in between I have not been briefed. All this is news to me."
Imran had a fallout with Ekta post release and debacle of 'Once Upon Ay Time in Mumbai Dobaara' , and as a result he was dropped from 'Milan Talkies'.
Subsequently, the two reconciled their differences and Imran was back in the film. But today, once again the actor is not too sure about his equations with Ekta. "I will find out my equations with her now. Today when I woke up I saw the story. I spoke to Ekta couple of months ago. My last meeting was with the director," said Imran, who says that he is no longer surprised by the industry's ways. "I tend not to be surprised by lot of things happening after having seen so many ups and downs in last few years.I have lost my ability to be surprised," he added.
