Rani having Sarla arrested is not a good thing.

After praising Rani for being confident and that she will punish for Sarla today by getting her arrested, I don't think its a good idea.

That is a good idea on what Rani should have done.

And it is kinda weird that Rani's character flip-flops from meek to courageous from time-to-time.
Also the relation b/w Rani & her chachi is also not sketched properly.

I think what Rani going to do is correct!Sarla deserves to b in jail after d humiliation Rani went thru today n evn after taking her zameen she os asking for more stuff's n took her jewellery too!n every gifl should go to police n its a right move by Rani!!nw both Amit n sarla will b scared of her n wont humiliate her or ask for dowry!if it was shanti sadan sarla will do some nautanki n Ragav will believe her bcoz his Amma will support Sarla this time no matter what!!

I do agree with you trying to say thing could be handled smoothly but here it is not the case Shanti is not the solution for Sarla and her ill mannered children the force to keep Sarla in control must be something of which Sarla is scared and the police is the good solution.

I disagree , Rani made the right move. If it comes to the front that Sarla is arrested for taking dowry , she will have a lot of explaining to do especially to her brother , as to how she ended up there? Police don't arrest people on hearsay alone they need proof, Sarla has the land papers and other stuff? How much would she lie???
In this way Rani also established she is not easily pushed around, by Sarla and in effect by Amit who no doubt would want to follow his mother's advise and start abusing her pysically.!!!

A ghost like sarla needs police scare, otherwise she wudve taken rani with her today, but gotten her killed later, such dowry killings are rampant in india.

No i think Rani made the right move.
She would have never gotten justice otherwise.Had she gone to shanti sadan sarla would have somehow twisted the whole situation infront of Raghav and probably would have made Rani seem like a culprit.And even if that wouldn't have happened she would have never got her place in sarla's house.Maybe sarla would have taken her home but she would have insulted her and tortured her everyday.She can't run to shanti sadan everyday for every little insult.
By lodging this complaint she made sure that sarla stays in her limit.Now she will think 100 times before saying anything to rani and will know that Rani is not someone to just toe the line.
As far as amit is concerned,im sure rani is shrewed enough to get him on her side.Amit is just like sarla you know.He will always care about his gain.

i think Rani played a smart move...1) it was hilarious to watch Sarla being taken away by the police..doing all nautank in front of the neighbours..2) neighbours knows how she treated Rani n they told Ragwa...👏 tht Sarla sent Rani back 3) Rani very smartly pretended that she didn't complain to the police n acted as their savior instead 😆 ...clearly..her only agenda was to enter that house and now, Amit and Sarla will not be able to dump her or torture her...Sarla will be scared of police and Ragwa also...She will have to accept Rani n Sarla cannot do any nautanki reg the land papers also which she took in dowry..😆if they were fake, Sarla ko sirf Rani hi mili hai ..
