Any actor will give an arm and a leg to share screen space with Katrina Kaif. Sidharth Malhotra is the lucky guy pairing up with her in Nitya Mehra's time travel film. Now this is a fresh and cool pairing.
When Sidharth was asked how he feels to be working with Kat, he said, "I watched her films in college. Hope I won't look like a junior on screen."
Ouch! Did he just hint that she is older than him? Sidharth may or may not have actually meant this, but Katrina is mighty cheesed off with him. A source close to the actress told us, "Katrina never expected Sidharth to say something like this. She has taken offense to it."
It seems odd that a statement like this would cause a furore. Katrina just turned 31 and at 30, Sidharth is only a year younger than her. The Ek Villain actor too does not get what all the fuss is about.
When 9xe.com asked the actor about this, he said, "In an interview, I was quoted in a certain way. I've learnt that I should think before talking because everything can be perceived differently. But the fact is that she has worked more than me. And I have seen her films!"
