***************************
For all those who simply wish to read the part about IshRa and not bore themselves with Shagun's antics, I've marked it in blue...scroll down...the lines are colored in red and pink..happy reading😊
In yesterday's episode, Shagun had probably slapped Ashok more than ten times. But it didn't end there. Coz she slapped him one more time.
"Ek purana hisaab.. jo aaj chukka rahi hun main"
"Ashok Khanna...tum ek tissue paper ho...use and throw."
"Aur tumhari jagah pata hai kahan hai? Dustbin mein!" It played out exactly along those lines as Ashok had taunted her in the same manner, months ago, when he backed out of marrying her.
I felt happy. 😆 No, not because Shagun is the new Rescue Woman in town. But because she did what she should have done MONTHS ago. Take the creep to task, make sure he didn't get away so easily.
And again she decided to play the guardian angel, by khiskaoing from the scene...
After lecturing Mrs. Tandon and saving her marriage, a suddenly enlightened Raman started looking everywhere for his wife. Even ssked Mrs. Jhakkar if she had seen Ishita somewhere.
He thought maybe she had left the party..and just when he was about to leave, Ashok's previous employee and khabri Vivek Jain met him. "Aapki wife Ishita ji...unhone shayad sharaab pee li hai...Ashok sir unhe room mein leke gaye the...aapki wife"
The mention of Ashok's name drilled some sense into his head, and led him to conjure the worst possible. Raman rushed. Didn't even listen to the rest of what Vivek had to say.
There she was - lying peaceful, unaware. He woke her up, anguished, fearful, hugging her tight to his bosom. Relieved and thankful nothing untoward had happened to her. At moments as these, it becomes so stark how MUCH he loves her, despite his unreasonable rage and illogical projections of his mind. Most of all, he was afraid of having nearly lost her.
He lifted her, helped her walk a few steps, out of the room.
On the other hand, Shagun got a call, and Vivek informed her that Ishita Ma'am has been taken care of... She, in turn, told Vivek, "Raman ko yeh nai pata lagna chahiye ki aapne mujhe call kiya tha aur main yahan aayi thi."
For all this silent acchai and all from the sidelines, I know for a fact that when the time is right (according to the CVs), they will drop an unsuspecting bomb on us and ruin it all. Shagun will suddenly be thrown into limelight and become the unanimous saviour of the Bhalla/Iyer families and the whole of Delhi included.
Raman came out to the parking lot, and helped Ishita on to the front seat, as Shagun hid out of sight.
"I hope iss incident ki wajah se Ishita aur Raman ke beech mein problems na ho."
"Ishita dressed up thi. Shayad Raman ke kareeb aane ke liye...I hope iss incident ki wajah se dono ke beech problems na ho"
WHAT WAS THAT??!! YEH KYA THA??!! I MEAN, I can take Shagun's social welfare activities to some extent. But these internal dialogues, bordering on Raman and Ishita's bhalai, and their prospects of living happily ever after? Too much, even by bhalai's standards!😕
I guess IshRa checked into a hotel...the room look beautiful, with ornamented lamps glistening and breathing an air of romance around them...the curtains billowed quietly in the background, as if they were trying to cautiously let the wind come in, lest the sleeping beauty in pink wake up.
Ishita was sleeping like a dream...uthte hi sabse pehle Raman ka naam liya. This was so cute. Jhagda bhi karte hain, ek doosre ko hurt bhi karte hain but subah sham naam sabse pehle ek doosre ka lete hain! I'm so bowled over by them!👏
He splashed a few drops of water on her face. She woke up, squinting, to see him there.
"Raman...kahan hain hum?"
"Shukar hai...yeh toh yaad hai ki Raman kaun hai" the angry young man in the dark suit and cropped hair, barked.
He started giving her attitude. Had the consummation not been round the corner, I'd have been furious.😡 But of course, this fiery nokjhok raised the tempo of the whole situation and since we have all been waiting for the Big C, I did not complain😃
She wanted to leave right away ...but swayed...and fell in his arms...they shared an intense eyelock. I cannot even describe what was going through me at that very moment.
She jerked him away. "Khade rehne ke hosh nai hai...tum jaana chahti ho...toh jao, par main kahin nahi jaa raha tumhare saath. " He spit fire, from his eyes.
She looked at him, with moist eyes, experiencing and reliving each of the emotions she felt the last few hours or so...she recalled Shagun's words - mocking at her failure to draw Raman in, as a woman...she relived the rage, hurt, pain, anger and every other emotion that had failed her today. And led her to doubt herself. But most of all, she recalled the rejection and humiliation she faced earlier, at her husband's hands...most pained by the outraged reactions of the man she loved the most in the world and desired so much!😭
"Actually aap chahte hi nai ho ki main aapke saath kahin nai jaaun...embarrassment hoti na aapko mere saath? Sach batayiye..kya aapne mujhe aaj EK baar bhi dekha?" God! She looked so shattered, truly believing in Shagun's words...that she wasn't the least desirable for her husband. Little did she realize the effect she had on him.
"Kya dekhun? Duniya ka aathwa ajooba hun...Taj Mahal ho?" Raman thundered, oblivious of the pain he was causing her with each passing minute.
Ishita looked broken and devastated, coz she in her mind, she was just like any other girl for Raman. Who probably didn't deserve his attention, his love, his desire.
"Main hun hi nahin aapke layak...Im worth nothing...kitni baar dekha aapne aaj mujhe? Kuch kaha aapne mujhe dekhke?? Main toh aapke type ki hun hi nahin"
"Tum mere type ki nahin ho? Yeh kisne keh diya diya tumse?" Greek God demanded angrily.
Although, he stuck to his point of view, that her change in dress sense was, "Bakwass. Kya zaroorat thi yeh sab pehenne ki?"
It was so sad to see her like that..rejected...humiliated, as she kept venting out her frustrations one by one...how she was merely his kids' mother, and the family's DIL. And nothing more. It reminded me of a scene fromNotting Hill (towards the end) where Julia Roberts stands in front of the door..and implores Hugh Grant to look at her one last time, give her one last chance... "I'm just a girl, standing in front of a boy, asking him to love her."
Ishita in some ways reminded me of JR in that movie, sans all the slip-ups the latter was guilty of, in the movie. She was imploring Raman, again and again and again, to look at her, as a WOMAN. Who at the end of the day, was madly in love with her husband and wanted him to love her back. It would be an understatement to say I felt for her.
"Aapki dost hun yaa..ek roommate...mujhe dekhke aapko koi asar nahin hota. I don't make you go weak in your knees. I don't make you go crazy. Meri yahan pe koi zarurat hi nahin hai. Mujhe chale jana chahiye." This dialogue especially, sent me into a tizzy. This was THE most vulnerable Ishita has EVER been in her life. Let alone baring her soul to her husband, she probably hadnt admitted it even to herself. How badly it affected her that he didn't spare a single look at her, in the way a man would see a woman. On a serious note, the writer has penned really crisp lines...for more than a year these two DID live like roommates, and the mention of the same pinched Raman hard. It was needed!
As she proceeded to leave he room, he held her arm, he caught hold of her arm in a strong grip. "Kisne kaha hai you don't drive me crazy! Pagal toh kar hi rakha hai" And out tumbled Raman's feelings...couched in rage and fire, but soft as butter underneath. It literally tore him underneath, as he came near to confessing how CRAZY his biwi really drove him. And by Jove! That was HOT!👏
"Behenji type hun, fashion sense nai hai mujhmein, pagal bhi aur stupid bhi hun." Ishita muttered to herself, drowning in self-pity.
"Duniya ki sabse badi stupid ho kyunki dekh nai sakti ki tum mere liye kya ho?"
"Who kyun banna chahti ho jo tum HO HI NAHIN!" He yelled. Though I suspect it was truly the fact that he got carried over by Ashok's words and nothing else. Had it been another day and time, he probably would've swooned looking at Biwi in this figure-hugging, elegant gown.
"Kisne kaha tha tumhen badlo...I don't want change in my life," he emphasized, trying to wish away all that had materialized the last few hours in his life. And then when Ishita demanded of him, how he could dance with Mrs.Tandon, looking into her eyes, he perked up, "Hot thi yaar Mrs. Tandon"
She slapped him. Hard. He was taken aback.
"Maine toh chhuan bhi nai..bahut hot thi" he continued, egging her on.
And then she slapped him again. Harder this time. But this time he seemed prepared.
And just like that he bent over her face and planted his lips on her. Hungrily devouring her lips. Leaving her Gobsmacked.😆😆😆 For a few seconds Ishita was in shock, unable to register what just happened.
"Maar diya," he declared. Triumphantly.😆
Oh my god... I cannot describe in words WHAT Raman Bhalla aka KP did to me today. Its hard to maintain my usual calmness and spout out literature when KP acts top notch and is a visual treat for the eyes. "Jitni baar tu maregi naa..main marunga...maar". None of the Mills & Boon novels I've ever read in my life can compete with the heady feelings generated within me that Raman did, in his caveman avatar. His swagger, his authority, his ownership' of his love...was all SPOT-ON. I don't mean 'ownership in a derogatory, nasty sense. I mean it in a possessive sense. Like how we all feel possessive about the love of our lives and feel we exercise some amount of right over them. Like the hot-blooded, wild and passionate kind. Like the kind that tells us only we have the right to love them in that mad, wild sexy way. Like the kind that makes US go weak in our knees.
And then she got timid...shy...coy...and smiled a tiny smile, despite the shock. "Main bhi toh dekhun Madrassan mein maarne ki kitni himmat hai" he murmured, as he drew closer to her.
One of my favorite songs played as BG music today...it was apt in every sense! Tujhe dekh dekh sona...tujhe dekh dekh jagna...jiya dhadak dhadak...jiya dhadak dhadak...jaye..
Ishita pyaar ke rang mein rang hi gayi...finally...she looked ready to be taken. Become a woman and a wife in every sense.
Standing behind her, Raman held her intimately ...he trailed his fingers on her bare shoulders...kissed her fingers...and then, her bare shoulders...brushed her locks to a side...kissed and kissed her some more...nuzzled his nose against her ear...making her ask for more...she, in turn, grazed her lip with her finger, sort of lightly biting it ...the pleasure seemed exquisite
Turned her around...she had her eyes closed...she opened them, coy..and expecting...even as a lone tear dropped from her eye...
He cupped her face in his hands...wiped that tear...saraahte huey dekha usko...kissed her eyes...
Let his lips rest on her face..
Kissed her some more...on her cheeks...
Their fingers intertwined, he kissed her fingers...
Even as teasing smiles played on both their lips.
And then he bent down and kissed her neck.
Their noses forming a sensuous silhouette, they writhed in the ecstasy of finally giving a destination to their love.
Raman made her lie down on the bed...and she quietly complied, smiling all this while.
He then went to her side and caressed the side of her neck. Grazing it with his face...
Touched every inch of her...took out the earrings...
Raked his fingers through her hair...
Pulled her into a tight embrace...
Bent over her and kept trailing his fingers on her body...scorching every inch of her...
And as they felt each other's breath and drowned in the intensity of the moment, with tingling palms and throbbing hearts, they both pulled the white sheets over them. And probably made love till the wee hours of the morning.☺️
I am feeling the heat even as I write this review. I may have penned it down like I'm writing an essay/story. But please excuse me. I aint in my senses right now.
In another corner of the city, Vandu realized that Raman and Ishita are not at home. "Shayad raat ko aaye hi nahin hai"
She was worried, thinking "un dono ke beech mein kuch gadbad na ho gayi ho" and woke Mihika up. As they argued about whether they should call Raman/Ishita or not...the episode ended on the cutest note ever - IshRa lying in each other's arms. Ishu cradling his head, as he slept like a cute little boy. I was giggling..the Bhallas and Iyers are so over-protective of IshRa, they get worried EVEN when they are out TOGETHER. I mean, WHO in their sane mind could imagine what was happening between the two...under the sheets..in a quaint little hotel room?😉
They lay - spent, in love, madly, irrevocably in love.👏☺️
And though Ishita woke up to the sound of her phone vibrating, she couldn't stop looking at Raman...she still had that smile on her face. For once, she ignored the whole world to just BE with her hubby😊 The look of pure bliss, of assurance of being his only one...of love that came to life.
Jaise zindagi mein use sab kuch mil gaya.
Well, mil to gaya! Use bhi, aur humein bhi!😉😆
P.S. KP and DT were OUTSTANDING today! Just brilliant!👏
Yes, I was expecting something more in the Big C...but darn it...whatever I feasted my eyes on was no less...the emotions were so raw...and palpable...like you could feel them in every beat...
KP does to me what not even Hollywood actors have been able to do to me, and that's quite a feat considering I think I'm pretty boring and stiff😆
And with this, our favorite couple have been betrothed to each other for LIFE. For Good. In every damn way. I feel so sentimental...I dont know...its like I've personally helped them unite or something😆😆😆
Dont mind me, I'm going bonkers.🤪 What powerful chemistry, what aura! What hot leads! Anything I say wont be able to do enough justice to the episode!
I know I'll not be able to sleep tonight. I know KP will continue to haunt my dreams for the next month now. I have AGAIN fallen in love with him. All the Rhett Butlers and Darcy's can go take a hike😆 coz I know I am dead...watching it start to finish
