Very interesting take.

The characters are all quite realistic and I'm waiting for both Govind Seth and Rajmata to come under one roof. That is the party scene. Will there be war of words like they do behind each others back or will they talk like matures? Cos both of them have huge egos.

Agree with u Arnav. Rajmata is living a fake life. All she cares abt is her royalty but the biggest let down is she has been shown kinda dumb when she told Ranaji that she signed bcoz she was asked to. What the! She doesnt use brain but can show ego to Govind seth. Hope Bauji soon burst her bubble 😆

Interesting post.. I would like to act that Raj Mata acts like a typical monarch.. If she has to burden her subjects to keep her rule, prestige and repute in tact she will.. Ranaji as I said yesterday believes in the philosophy of John Locke.. That every man has the right of life, liberty and the pursuit of property and the purpose of government is to protect these rights.. As for democracy I believe that also comes into foreplay after independence.. I wonder if they are going to to show Ranaji losing his position.. Many kings I believe tried to fight for places in the parliament but it didn't work out

I haven't come across your analysis comparing Rana Ji's philosophy to John Locke's yet. That is some VERY deep thinking and analyzing. Consider me impressed dwarfy <3

Very well put. The time Ranaji is the King is the time when there was a cry for democracy worldwide. Slowly, the liberal ideals were overflowing everywhere. Even in England the labor party became immensely powerful. The end of world war II made the picture rather clear. The amount of hatred Ranaji has for the English is well explained in the story although I don't know why he was fighting in the world war in the first place. I think John Locke's philosophy of human liberty is quite relatable in this case.
