Apart from a fairy tale story of Cindrella, the fight between monarchy and democracy is an interesting theme of the show.
For Rajmata, monarchy and the royalty is above everything. If we need we shall fake ourselves but maintain the status in the society. The big party explains her nature. Its protocols everywhere. So. Govind Seth irrespective of his large wealth is still just a petty businessman for her. Only because he has loads of money and she is indebted to him doesn't mean she should respect her or acknowledge his help. She will do anything ethical or unethical to get the loan paid to Govind Seth so that she can treat the man like her subjects. Her attitude is her real problem.
Interesting dialogue came from her when she said that a pair of shoe if moulded in gold it is still just a footwear.
Govind Seth finds this so called Monarchy rather funny. He doesn't boost about his wealth everywhere ( businessman generally don't do that to save their heads from taxation) like Rajmata but given a chance he won't hesitate from taunting the self proclaimed Rajwada of the state. For him they are not gold but only golden, only polished enough to imitate gold. Therefore for him a sword how powerful it may look like is still made of ordinary iron only and is incomparable to gold.
Rajmata's notion and Govind Seth's notion are soon going to hit each other. Let's see how it affects the life of Rana and Gayatri.
