First ,let me apologise if my post offends any kind soul. A sincere request to all writers , Please give us a complete story ! Many lovely stories with amazing concepts have been 'laid to rest' after a few chaps . If you do not have a complete story in mind KINDLY do not write ! You frustrate ardent readers like me. Other writers are always willing to help out when you 'blank out' for ideas, as I have observed , the IF writers are the most SELFLESS and helpful people , I can think of . Lastly we would like a regular update as far as possible. I have given up on stories which are too long delayed for a simple reason , I have forgotten the start. I am sure all readers would like to say the same.

I agree that incomplete story and delay in updates annoys the reader... Sometimes the story loses it's basic essence due to long interval in updates... So I can understand ur anger or frustration or disappointment but baby u need to look at this from writer's pov too.
The writers of the forum are not professional writers but it's either their hobby or love for RagNa... They write because they feel to give words to their feeling and hence max of them can't write when their heart is not into it...

Other than this... All of them are working or studying... They might get busy with their schedule... Some might have exams or other can have project deadlines... Some might have some issue like mine was marriage due to which they r not able to give time to updates... So u need to understand that too. So please don't tell them to not write if they don't have time... It's just for the writers that the RagNa and forum is alive... Even sometimes they have to read previous updates so that there isn't discontinuity in the story... So please encourage them to write more instead of saying them not to write.

I dint mean to offend u but just showing the other side of the coin... Writers love their story much more than readers and never ever want to leave a story incomplete or delayed until n unless they have some true reasons to do that.

May be I am wrong but I have a feeling this post is meant for me. I don't want to offend anyone but it hurts when you try so hard to write despite of your professional and personal problems and people instead of appreciating it criticize you. It is not first time I had to face this but i always try to ignore it as i know the person who is writing this does not aware of my problems, my issues. Readers have every right to ask for update and it shows how much they appreciate your work and they have all right to criticize you but sometimes, It is hard for a writer to concentrate on writing. Sometimes they know the story but they can't put it in words. sometimes they don't have time. sometime they can be in middle of some problems. I never typed in cell phone but for giving you all an update, i have started typing on phone during my journey to office.
Sorry, i didn't want to hurt anyone but it hurts when someone does not appreciate your effort

Sorry. You have misunderstood my reason for writing this post. I am aware that all are involved in studies or work and this is a past time . We appreciate their effort, on contrary, I make appoint of commenting on ALL yhe stories I read. Most of the time it is to encourage and NOT for any other purpose. Let me put it this way, What satisfaction will a writer get to give an incomplete story ? Sorry not meant to offend any individual , just 'voicing' my DISAPPOINTMENT !

You are right and I being a writer understand what you are saying. I myself don't give regular updates and many lost interest which I can't blame them because I too lost interest.
All I can say is that I'll try harder too update on time now lol I am lazy to update at times but you all but me slack. So as a writer I am sorry for always being late these days I have headaches and I found out the reason. So I'll get better and update. You haven't offended me just pointed out the brutal truth lol

Pre I can understand what you want to say. Actually it happened with me. I started commenting on updates when the threat of closure was there. I always say that writers here are writing selflessly but when the continuity of the story is broken, we lose interest and also if it happens time and again it hurts more. We understand that anybody can have problems. You know when I was really annoyed with this I rejected Sneha's Driver Beti to read and when she gave last 2 updates I read it then and I wrote it in my comment to Sneha also. It was such a fabulous work from her side and I was going to reject it and sameway I did it with Dimple work which is I think FS "I will never stop loving you", if I am not wrong. So my point is it happens with readers.
I think writers have their reasons but Pre is just putting readers point.
