Ishaa Koppikar

Born and raised in Mumbai, Ishaa comes from a family of academics - her father is a doctor, mother is in banking while her brother is in the financial funds industry. Ishaa holds a degree in Life Sciences from the Ruia College in Bombay and graduated from Bombay University with a degree in Biotechnology.

Ishaa started her glamour career in modeling as assignments started to flow-in after she did a photo shoot with Gautam Rajyadhyaksha when she was still in junior college. She has done ads for Ponds, Camay, Rexona, Synergy, Coke, L'Oreal and Tips & Toes. Ishaa currently endorses Garnier Hair Care.

After that she starred in En Swasa Katre where she was cast opposite superstar Arvind Swamy. And although initially she began her career in South Cinema, Ishaa whose ambition was to make it in Bollywood slowly and steadily made her way into Hindi films. She did small roles in Fiza and Pyar, Ishq aur Mohabbat. But stardom in Bollywood wasn't very far and soon Ishaa did an item number, Khallas, in Ram Gopal Verma's Company and the song did so well that for years Koppikar became synonymous with sizzling item numbers in the industry.

But today Ishaa Koppikar has grown beyond being just a sizzling item girl. She slowly moved into full fledged roles like Inteqaam, Krishna Cottage, Humraahi and Raakh. She was recently seen in Farhan Akhtar's DON and will be seen soon in Shabri in which she appears in a completely non glamourous role.

The actress is also known for her martial arts abilities in Taekwondo that set her apart from other Bollywood actresses and therefore often the actress is seen doing her own stunts. While starring in the lead role in the controversial film Girlfriend, there was a shot where Ishaa was had to jump from the twelfth floor and also break the glass - a difficult thing to do, even for a regular stunt man. Ishaa actually did that stunt herself with ease.

Ishaa's personal life has also been a matter of speculation for awhile now. It is believed that the actress has been dating actor Inder Kumar who is alleged to be battling with substance abuse. She supported him during his rehabilitation stint but it is now believed that their relationship is once again going through turbulent times.

Vaibhavi Merchant

Vaibhavi Merchant is the daughter of the renowned choreographer Shri Harilal Merchant. And although Vaibhavi today makes all the leading stars of Bollywood dance to her tune initially her family was quite anti her joining the industry as a choreographer.

However, after having convinced her family of surviving what was once a male dominated profession, Merchant has today climbed to the top of her career.

She began her career as an assistant to her uncle Chinni Prakash - also a famous choreographer of his time. Her first solo work as a choreographer was in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's hit Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam for the song Dhol Baje after which there has been no looking back for her.

She has to her credit the choreography in leading films such as Dhoom 2, Baghban, Fanaa, Veer Zaara and Bunty aur Babli. One of Vaibhavi's biggest hits to date has been the choreography for Kajra Re from the film Bunty aur Babli which was picturised on Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai.

She also worked on the Australian musical The Merchants of Bollywood which is based on Vaibhavi's family itself. From National Awards to her very first individual song choreography to musicals in the UK, Vaibhavi has seen it all.
