Sab jag soye hum jaage
Chaandani raatein...
Come on and reach out
Now this is your chance
Come on and reach out
Bin chede hi baje jhan jhana jhan
Dil mein sau guitar
Ude ude hosh khoya khoya dil
Aur dikhte ek ke char
Isi umar mein, isi umar mein
Parth pretended to sleep and Vibha leaned in closer, she put her hand on his pale cheek and and stroked it gently. And then leaned it to give him a kiss. She then tried to stroke his hair, but he caught her hand. She felt shy as he was awake, but he put his arms around her, and looked at her.
Bheegi Bheegi Sapno Ka Jaisa Khat Hai Yeh
Haay Gili Gili Chaahat Ka Jaise Lat Hai Yeh
Mar Jawan.. Mar Jaawaan,
She left hurriedly, adjusting her dupatta on the way to the door. She opened the door to see Parth's mother waiting. She immediately touched her feet, and she blessed her.
Parths Mom: Bahut sundar lag rahi ho.
Vibha: Thank you Aunty.
Parths Mom: Ab se Aunty nahi, Ma bulana.
Vibha: Ji, Ma.
Vibha hugged her and thanked her.
Parths Mom: Khush raho. Achcha mera beta kaha hain?
Vibha: Woh andar hai...
Parth came along just that very moment.
Parth: Ma, kaise ho aap?
He went and hugged her, while Vibha smiled.
Parths Mom: Main to theek hu, tu bata, ab to khush hai na?
Parth smiled. He was happy, beyond words, not just because he was going to be bound together with the love of his life, but also because things were going to be okay between the two people he loved the most, his Mother, and his Vibha.
Vibha: Aunty, sorry, Ma, main aapke liye chai bana kar laati hu...
Parth's Mom: Arey, nahi, main theek hu.
Vibha: Nahi, Ma, main bana kar laati hu, aap Parth ke saath baithye, aur baatein kijiye.
Parth smiled at Vibha, he liked the sound of her calling his Mom 'Ma'. He took his Mom for a tour of the house. They went to his room and she noticed that the bed didn't have a mattress.
Parths Mom: Yeh kya Parth, bed bhi nahi ready kiya hai tune?
Parth: (scratched his head) Ha Ma, woh time hi nahi mila.
Parths Mom: Toh tu roz kaha sota hai? Is sofe par?
Parth: Ha Ma...
Parths Mom: Lekin...
Parth: Arey Mom, main yeh sab arrange kar lunga. Aap chinta mat karo. Aap baitho, aur bata aapko room kaise decorate karna hai?
Parths Mom: Beta, woh baad main hota rahega. Mujhe toh kal wapas jana hoga, unki tabiyat bahut zyada kharab hai.
Parth: Par aapko us admi ke pas jane koi zaroorat nahi hai..
Parths Mom: Ha beta, mujhe pata hai, par aise samay main, khair, tu iski chinta mat kar, dekh yaha aa. Mujhe tujhe kuch dena hai (she took out a box from her bag and gave it to Parth).
Parth: Yeh kya hai Ma?
Parths Mom: Yeh woh kangan hai jo tere papa ke parivar ne mujhe diye the, jab hamara rishta tay hua tha. Main chahti hu ki tu ise Vibha ko pehnaye.
Parth: Sach Ma?
Parths Mom: Ha, aur nahi to kya? (she patted Parth on his cheek) Main chahti hu ki tum dono hamesha khush raho, aur tere chehre par hamesha yeh khushi bani rahe!
Parth: Thanks Mom.
Parth hugged his Mother once again and just then Vibha entered the room with a cup of tea. As she gave the cup, the doorbell rang again.

Vibha went to answer the door and smiled and hugged Dadi. She touched both her Dadi and her Mother's feet. She welcomed them in.
Dadi: Parth...
Parth heard Dadi's voice and came out to meet her.
Parth: Dadi, kaise ho aap Dadi?
He touched her feet and Dadi was smiling.
Dadi: Arey, ab toh gale mil sakta hai na?
Parth: Jee Dadi.
Parth smiled and bent down to hug her.
Dadi: Jeete raho, aur sada khush raho! Aur khub tarakki karo.
Parth then met Vibha's mother, for the very first time. Parth touched her feet.
Parth: Namaste Aunty.
Vibha: Maa, yeh Parth...
Vibha's Mom: Jeete raho bete.
Vibha's Mom was always a sweet, simple lady who had been by her husbands side since he got paralysed. She had always been soft spoken and docile. She didn't mind Vibha leaving the well-established, older Raj, for a newly graduated, younger Parth. She knew her daughter was old enough to make her own decisions, she had been taking care of the entire family after all for so many years. She was happy with whatever made her daughter happy.
Parths Mom said that they had consulted the priest and today being a holy day, they could do the engagement and do the wedding later, after deciding the events and people to invite.
Parth: Engagement... Lekin woh to...
Vibha: Ha, Ma (Vibha held Parth's hand to stop him from speaking more)... Aaj hi kar lenge...
Parth gave Vibha a confused look and Vibha simply batted her eyelids at him to signal him that she would make him understand afterwards. Both the Mom's left to bring some of the things required for the puja while Dadi made a call for someone to come put mehendi on Vibha's hands.
Vibha: Arey, Dadi, iski kya zaroorat hai?
Dadi: Arey, tu chup kar, yeh achcha shagun hota hai! Parth... ise bata de...
Parth: Dadi keh rahi hai to h laga lo...
Dadi: Ha, dekha, mera samajhdar bachcha hai yeh!
Soon enough Vibha had her hands decorated with Mehendi, and she went to Parth to show him her hands, as she'd asked the lady to write his name, hidden amongst the design. She noticed Parth was standing in the balcony area, overlooking the trees outside. She went upto him and remembered how he said to listen to Dadi and get mehendi put on her hands, so she felt naughty and pretended to clear her throat so that he would look at her. And when he did, she touched his face with her fingers, causing some of the green stuff to stick to his face. He immediately held both her wrists and gently turned her locked her against the wall.

Tera chehara jab najar aaye
Ho tera chehara jab najar aaye
Parth: Sh.. (he put his finger on her lips).
Vibha: Parth, chodo mujhe, aur yeh kya... tumne mehendi mere galo par laga di, ab nahi utregi...
Parth: Main hu na... Don't worry!
Baith jaa mere saamane, khaalee dil khaalee najar bhar lu jaaneja
Too khafa ho jaaye, raat abhee ho jaaye
Bin tere aanchal me chhup jaaye, chhup jaaye
Yeh jamin ruk jaaye, aasman jhuk jaaye
Tera chehara jab najar aaye
