I say bad luck because a film like DDD which had everything going for it - Director, Star cast, Story etc. didn't end up being a hit even though it was appreciated by audience and critics alike. Similarly I feel if Lootera had released now it would have done much better business because audiences' mindset has changed over the last year and they are giving a chance to small, serious, content driven films.

Other than this I can see that his off screen image is polarising. You either hate it or love it. I can also understand why his dressing sense and general shenanigans turn people off. I also wish sometimes that he would just tone it down and not make headlines time and again for his fashion or love life.

But he is a good actor and deserves to prove himself. Just hope BM turns out good for him and he continues to get backing of producers/directors.

same with Bebo, both ameesha and Bipasha were ahead of her for quite sometime but now Kareena is the one who manages to survive, bips and Ameesha are no where close.

So I don't think we Ranveer fans need to worry much- he is talented and I am sure he'll do very well in future.

Having said that he needs to tone down his offscreen karnama a little. If Salman can go for image make over why not Ranveer??
