In all seriousness I think Ranveer has been affected by poor movie choices (Kill Dil, Gunday) and just bad luck.
I say bad luck because a film like DDD which had everything going for it - Director, Star cast, Story etc. didn't end up being a hit even though it was appreciated by audience and critics alike. Similarly I feel if Lootera had released now it would have done much better business because audiences' mindset has changed over the last year and they are giving a chance to small, serious, content driven films.
Other than this I can see that his off screen image is polarising. You either hate it or love it. I can also understand why his dressing sense and general shenanigans turn people off. I also wish sometimes that he would just tone it down and not make headlines time and again for his fashion or love life.
But he is a good actor and deserves to prove himself. Just hope BM turns out good for him and he continues to get backing of producers/directors.
