Kareena is called Ki while Arjun is Ka. Balki points out that 'ki' and 'ka' are derived from common Hindi words which define gender eg, uski, uska, iski and iska. "In Hindi not just human beings but also nonliving objects have gender. Everybody and everything is categorised. But this film, like the couple's marriage, underlines the fact fact that Ki and Ka as genders don't matter," he explains. "Bebo and Arjun play a Delhibased couple. The film is all about breaking gender stereotypes," reveals a source close to the development.
