Diya is hopeful that her parents would let her enter as they might've shouted at her in the spur of the moment. Urmi and Shaurya leave the hospital with her. As soon as they exit, the media people swarm them with questions. They don't even hesitate in using camera insensitively. Diya turns around in anguish. Shaurya tells them all off angrily and leaves with Diya and Urmi.

At Awaz office, Cheeku is shocked to hear the news. He does not believe at first. Then calls start coming and realisation dawns.

Diya's family is busy packing to leave for their hometown, to escape the "bad reputation". Diya's father returns home with train tickets in Tatkal, but it is for two days after.

[Just sharing a fact : Tickets in Tatkal quota can be booked only 24 hours prior to the journey, not two days before...have been doing for almost two years myself in IRCTC]

Diya's family can't see the sense in Urmi's words and in turn, accuses Shaurya and Urmi as usual. Her father ruthlessly say she should've died, not returned alive. Then they wouldn't have had to run away to village, to save their "reputation"

Diya is distraught and begs her family members, one by one.

Her father shouts at her to go with the ones she placed her trust while leaving their home to file the complaint.

Karan is preparing for his audition and is instructing his mother to get the expensive engagement ring back from Diya in exchange of the cheaper one he got. His mother is feeling ashamed of him. Just then, Diya is being shown in news.

At Shaurya's home, everyone sees the report. Everyone is sympathetic. Urmi arrives with Shaurya and Diya just then. Shaurya guesses rightly that the news might be out by now.

[The media people assured not to take Diya's name, but what use would it be, if they show the visuals? Shaurya's words are true...masala news is what majority hunts...]

Ishani offers water compassionately and Shaurya looks on. As Damini is about to ask more, Shaurya gestures her not to. As it becomes clear that Diya's parents don't support her decision to file complaint, Damini asks whether Shaurya had forced her to do that. Shaurya denies. All family members offer their support. Damini says she should take rest now, be with her family. Urmi reveals that as DIya can't return home, she would live with them from now on.

Precap showed Damini raising protest against Urmi's decision, saying it might affect Ishani's future marriage proposals.

Thanks for the review Lux and thanks also for doing the reviews for the day when you were not here. It is such a concise thread that even if some one has missed an episode or two, they would get a fair idea about what is going on the serial reading it here.

Damini insensitively refuses to let Diya stay in their house. Shaurya tries to reason out and even Mr Sinha tries to pacify her. Damini says it will affect Ishani's marriage prospects and stays firm in her stance.

Karan enters sinha house at this very moment and spin lies as usual: His mother has gone against their engagement, but he is ever so faithful to her and was worried for her. Diya asks Karan to take her with him.

Anirudh says that Diya would stay with them as long as she wants to. Karan offers to come regularly to meet her and promises to take her with him very soon.

Urmi takes Diya to her room and tells her to rest. She reassures her that they are with her in what ever step she takes.

Urmi offers a hug and "everything will be alright" assurance to DIya - something her own mother should've done long time ago...

Karan and Shaurya talk outside Shaurya's home. Shaurya is holding back, letting Karan make all the excuses he wants. And as Karan leaves, FINALLY we get a glimpse of Shaurya's thoughts..he does not trust Karan at all and is sure he is upto something...

Chiku arrives at Shaurya's home and is hurt as Shaurya hid the truth. Shaurya apologises. Chiku enquires about Diya and Urmi replies she is not well. As food and coffee for both Diya and Karan is being sent upstairs to Diya's room, Damini, being her usual self, complains how her home has become rest-house. Shaurya and Urmi exchange glances, probably wondering how to pacify her.

Karan is .being his usual self, trying to manipulate DIya into believing his "innocence"

I so wanted to watch Shaurya's reaction during the first half-will go back and watch as soon as I can...

So, what do you think? What plans are going through in Karan's mind? Is he going to act like supporting Diya for now and withdraw it all at the crucial moment? How is SHaurya going to expose Karan? And another question : When is Jamdar going to crop up again? When is that connection going to come up? Once Shaurya gets a hint of the foulplay behind it all, I feel, he's going to be a force to reckon with. And don't forget Ishani! So much to look forward to...

Karan, after shamelessly finishing off his portion of food, is manipulating Diya again. He wants Diya to go to her parent's home to try and convince them. Diya agrees reluctanly, not knowing that Karan is going to call the entire media out there. This was a part of Karan's plans for the sake of a "free audition" by staying two-three days in TV news as the unfortunate fiance who couldn't save his lady love. His aim is only to gain a film or serial after all, so no use expecting any honesty from this character.

[I so want to see Diya realising the truth soon. Wonder how she would react...Crumble again as her heart is broken or give Karan the slaps her deserve? It would be too harsh not to expect her to be affected and not do the former...but still, there's nothing wrong with hoping for the latter either...]

The Sinha family and Chiku are discussing Karan. None are happy about him. Damini says women have to be more careful and shouldn't invite rape on themselves by strolling around at night. Urmi says you just can't curb a girl's freedom. Shaurya too counters quoting how even little girls of two-three years get raped.

Chiku is pretty shaken by the incident and says he still can't believe this happened with Diya. He refuses to meet Diya as he does not have courage to face her.

Just then Karan comes down with Diya and declares that he's taking Diya home to convince her parents as she can't stay at Sinha house forever. Damini eggs him on. Urmi and Shaurya ask Diya's opinion and she says yes. Urmi lets her go saying she is with her always and instructs her to come back if they fail to convince the Tiwaris.

At Chiku's home, Asha is trying to teach cooking to Nupur.

At Shaurya's home, Rani forgets about Ishani's food and gets an earful. Urmi tries to pacify her, but then Damini comes in and does her usual bit. Injustice is happening to her because of Diya and Shaurya at her home. She fills Ishani's ears against Shaurya and she is thoughtful.

Shaurya goes with Karan and Diya to Diya's home. Karan is looking around in search of media people as soon as they exit the car. Shaurya is irritated and asks him what he's waiting for. Karan mumbles an excuse and just as they start walking forwards, the media mob them. Diya is shaken and she seeks solace behind Karan. Shaurya is shocked. But without missing a beat, he swiftly takes Diya back to the car and asks Karan also to get in.

Karan is busy describing his "veer gaadha" and Shaurya is fuming. Finally, he gets in the car. Shaurya asks in general how the media might've got the information. Karan again gives lame excuses. Diya is sitting at the back seat, face covered by her hands.

Back to the Sinha house, Shaurya is conversing with Chiku over phone. Chiku has asked around and confirms Shaurya's doubt that it was indeed Karan who informed the media.

Karan is standing near his bike at some place and shamelessly instructing his friend to upload his part from the TV news and tag him. Who knows which way luck may come!

Shaurya hears it and confronts Karan. Karan, the shameless, heartless one asks what is wrong if he is using Diya to gain limelight.

Precap showed Karan going on about how a relation is about give and take and says women are made to be used. Shaurya reaches the limit to endurance. He catches hold of Karan and warns him not to speak in such manner and that he's holding back only for Diya's sake.

[Let it go Shaurya! He deserves a slap! But again, Shaurya may not be a person who slaps physically: it may come in some form for sure now that he knows the truth...Beware Karan!]

Karan says he's not going to keep a relation with a girl who has been raped. They are useless. And it is better to make use of them in some way.

Shaurya reaches the limit of endurance. He catches hold of Karan and warns him not to speak in such manner and that he's holding back only for Diya's sake.

Karan says if the truth is revealed, she'll break. Shaurya releases him, eyes showing his inner struggle.

Karan adds that if she gets well, you and your newspaper will get back the efficient employee..you too have gain...and leaves...

[Shaurya is not going to reveal it then, at least not so soon...maybe indirectly some day...or maybe Diya is going to find out for herself one day...I hope she comes out of the shock stronger than ever..such men do not deserve her time or tears]

It's night...and Diya wakes up screaming because of nightmare...

Everyone comes to her..Urmi, Shaurya and Anirudh assures her of safety...Urmi decides to stay with Diya for the night...Damini goes on that they should become Diya's security guards, leaving their precious sleep...Thankfully, anirudh has the final word and Urmi stays with Diya..

The next morning, Urmi makes Diya comes down. As Damini says life still won't be the same for her, Shaurya counters that confidence and courage can change everything.

[Wonder how Damini says that, in spite of being a woman herself...she is an apt representation of the hypocrisy in society]

Karan appears and with a cautious look at Shaurya, sits down.

Shaurya watches Karan closely.

[Karan is obviously weary of Shaurya. He should be. That fear is probably the only thing to keep him from going overboard...]

Urmi wants Karan to search for Diya's clothes at her home. He says he won't be allowed in and refuses to go. Urmi asks then why were you going yesterday. Karan makes lame excuses and Shaurya offers to go.

At Chiku's home, Nupur learns to say good morning and Asha continues the english classes.

At Sinha house, Diya is looking at the mirror, the bruises on face... Ishani comes to her and assures that they'll be okay with time. Diya wonders whether the inner wounds would heal. Ishani offers comforting words and asks Diya to come to her if she needs anything.

Urmi comes over and misunderstands Ishani. She asks her to leave.

[Ishani didn't fight back, probably not wanting to stress Diya...she's got her heart in the right place...just needs to escape her grandmother's clutches...there is hope in her case...]

Diya's family is still stuck on the old notes. Shaurya is at Diya's home and requests her parents to give him the clothes. In reply, Nirmala burns the dress infront of everyone.

Precap showed Shaurya sitting near Diya. As Diya is worried about not having any proof, a call comes in Shaurya's mobile. He says thank you over the phone.

Missed first five minutes-Sorry!

According to Sunna-Subha in IF, this is what happened : Ishani is blaming Urmi for everything and again mentioning about Ishaan's death. Shaurya tries to reason as usual. Daadi is being her usual self.

Was just in time to see Damini leaving for somewhere with Ishani. Shaurya tells her to stop, but Ishani doesn't.

[Damini's plans have started working already? Lots to deal with for Shaurya now...the case's legal aspects, Diya's fragile condition, his office, watching out for any possible manipulation attempts from Karan's side, and don't forget the anonymous letter and pics...how will he find time for removing Ishani's misunderstanding now? Sometimes when troubles come, they come like the waves in ocean, one after the other...and you can't help faltering a bit...Counting on Chiku and Urmi as support systems for Shaurya...]

At Chiku's home, Asha drinks the spiked drink Noopur prepared for herself.

Karan is being his usual selfish self at his home. Karan's mother pities herself for having given birth to him.

[Karan looked so ridiculous in pista coloured face pack!]

The usual rant goes on...of how he has to look perfect...and how Diya is blah blah blah...And as he demands money to buy new shirt, his mother loses it and shouts "Go to hell!" and leaves...

Shaurya enters Diya's room and seeing her lost in thoughts, he puts on the mask of normalcy and asks her whereabouts trying his best to sound casual...Diya asks how it was at her home...As Shaurya stutters in reply, Diya understands that he's lying...

Diya is worried on learning that they don't have the dress...

Shaurya hesitates and then finally places his comforting hand on her shoulder...Diya doesn't recoil...

Just as he tries to raise her spirits, the police inspector calls him and asks him to come over with Diya for identification parade as they have caught some suspects..

Shaurya and Diya arrives at the station...Diya is being made to face the criminals one by one...

Shaurya offers his support and asks her not to lose courage...

[Poor thing Diya, having to face those monsters again! Good thing she has Shaurya with her...]

Diya is distraught and without further inspection, she runs out. She doesn't identify anyone despite Shaurya's support.

[What will happen now? How will they strengthen the case? Maybe they'll conduct it again?]

Karan arrives at Sinha house and talks in his usual way..and gets the perfect agreeable company for him - Damini of course!😔

Shaurya arrives with Diya and Karan receives her with complaints about not informing him beforehand about the visit.

Shaurya gives fitting reply: "We went to police station-not party. You are questioning her instead of being a support? This is your love and care?" 👏

[Finally! Someone other than his mother has questioned Karan! And the excitng thing is that Karan has no choice but to eat his words!😆👏]

Karan is stunned for a moment. He looks at Shaurya and on seeing his expression, retraces instantly and says sorry. He was only "worried" for Diya!😕

Then Shaurya speaks again, words resonating threat : "Aadat dal lo Karan, ye to shuruat hai"

Then Diya too adds : "Mein akeli nahi thi. Shaurya sir thi. Inke sahare aur himmat hai. So, don't worry about me."

[ Yipee! ]

Damini keeps her silence, but observes everything carefully.

She then goes to Ishani's room for the usual dosage of brainwashing.

Ishani is watching a movie of some Aakash Kumar and gushes about the actor as Damini asks.

[Another entry? Hope not...we have enough characters as it is...]

Damini starts her brainwashing and says the interference of Shaurya and Urmi may create rift in Karan and Diya's relation. And then Shaurya may take some drastic steps.

Ishani says she is worried and all for Diya, but Diya doesn't deserve Shaurya.

Damini says she would leave the house if anything like that happens.

Next morning at Sinha house. Everyone is ready for Pooja.

Diya is in her room and asks Goddess Durga to give her strength in this fight.

Shaurya and Ishani join their family in the pooja.

[loved the bro-sis moment. Kunal in yellow kurta! ]

Hearing the sound of bells and all, a freshened up Diya in new clothes too comes down for the Pooja.

Damini, on seeing her, is livid. She pushes her out and Shaurya and Urmi catches her...She asks her to leave...that Diya can't be in her pooja room...even Anirudh is silenced as she says it's a thing between ladies...😡

[probably because Diya is not "pure" to be standing infront of the Lords according to her, I suppose...😡 ]

As Diya is about to step back, Shaurya catches her wrist...

Precap showed Urmi saying that everyone is equal infront of the Lord and Damini daring Urmi to leave with Diya...
