Diya asks him to leave her alone. Everyone has left her alone - her family, Karan's mother, everyone. Shaurya tones down his anger and asks :
"Do you really think I'll leave you alone? Give me two three days. I'll make some alternate arrangement."
And then holding her hand, he leaves the temple.
[Wow! what all did we fear and what happened? Oh, gosh! So happy with this direction! :D ]
Damini is still going on about the stuff she talks about nowadays - Diya and her faults - at Sinha house. Just then, Shaurya arrives with Diya, holding her hand. And her gaze zeroes in on that while everyone else is relieved to see Diya. Ishani hugs her and says she'll lock her up if Diya repeats this. Shaurya is smiling happily.

And Damini stares disbelievingly.
Next morning...
Karan is standing outside Diya's room, trying to talk and Diya asks him to leave. After a few half-hearted knocks, he leaves.
At porch, he meets Shaurya.
[I totally love these Shaurya Karan meetings at Sinha house porch! Yes, if it means we get more of this, I don't mind the existence of Karan :D ]
Shaurya surmises the situation and tells him bye:
"I'll miss you Karan - " ...pause... "actually not!" š
Karan again, as usual, accuses Shaurya of doing "Chance Pe Dance" and manipulating HIS Diya...
Shaurya is in a very good mood and doesn't give up a single chance to fire a retort:
"She's not YOUR Diya,"
"I know who is doing chance pe dance"
"Look at the mirror and then talk about status"
And then,
"All the best for audition!"
[Karan didn't speak ill of Diya today, probably because he still feels Shaurya's slap š]
Inside, Damini is in Ishani's room trying to brainwash her...and as her attempt turns futile (thanks to the lovely scene of Bhai-Choti we saw yesterday) , accuses Shaurya of brainwashing her.
And then it slips from her mouth that it was she who asked Diya to leave the house. Ishani catches it and doesn't approve. She says it's all a big misunderstanding. She even asks Badi ma to promise she wouldn't hurt Diya again.
[Ishani is right about Shaurya loving her the most. But what about whether Diya being his choice? Hmm... trouble may crop up in future in this matter unless Diya manages to win Ishani over by then...]
Just as Ishani leaves her room, Urmi enters. She has heard the entire conversation.
"It is proved today that Ishani is my daughter whatever you try. It is a mother's win today."
With these words, she walks away in triumph.
{It has been a bad day for Damini through and through, wasn't it? š]
Shaurya and Urmi are going through legal papers in the living room. Anirudh comes in and says he will hire the best lawyer in city. Shaurya says it's not easy.
Rape case victim can't choose lawyer. It has to be a state lawyer. But the accused can hire as many lawyers as they want. Everyone talk about the irony that criminals are offered chances while the victim is not.
[That is a new knowledge for me. This definitely needs to change! Yes, for those who can't afford another lawyer, let the state lawyer appear. But the others should be given a choice, I think...]
Shaurya enters Diya's room with a Hi and smile:
"I know you might be feeling bad as your trust got broke regarding Karan."
Diya but says she shouldn't expect much.
Shaurya is disappointed and irritated by her reply as he didn't expect someone like Diya to say such things.
"Which society is he afraid of? The one which opposes death sentence to a terrorist but can't ensure justice in rape cases? No one can look down upon you!"
And then, his expression changes...pain is also reflected in is eyes along with frustration.
"I can't see you like this."
And then in a stronger determined voice:
"I won't let you be like this."
Diya looks on with tear filled eyes
