Hello Everyone!
Hope u all enjoyed the first Episode of this much awaited show! And I finally managed to watch it after waiting for a whole hour... 😆

Anyway so I thought of doing an analysis of it. So frankly speaking...the episode was kinda a let down. I was really excited for it but it didn't manage to satisfy that. And by this I mean the screenplay. The actors were fantastic! All of them! They managed to portray their characters beautifully and that is probably the only part I actually really enjoyed. Their acting!

Screenplay wise...I thought the writers and director tried making the first Episode a big, action packed drama. Which I understand as this has been put here to foreshadow the politics within the Royal family. But due to that there was too much happening. If it was a 40 min episode...yes maybe they could have given full justice to it..but it's a 20 min episode and u r trying to introduce all characters...their characteristics andthen on top of that a murder scheme already. Too much.

For me the screenplay really was weak in this episode...Hopefully they will take it down a notch. Other than this I think the setting was beautiful. They managed to create that old vintage feel. So Congratz to them on that!

Now moving onto Characters😆:
  • Rajmata : Very Proud! I loved her character! She is a strong women who knws how to control, how to be posh, and how to be a highness. You can tell that she loves her son and also husband which shows that she is loyal too. Not to offend anyone but how many of u have seen shows or films where high class people just r with their partners for name, popularity and wealth. Well I have seen this stereotype portrayed through many films. Also she has respect for others! She actually considered what her servant said. She listened to her. She acknowledged it. And she even kinda gave her Credit when she turned and smiled at her when she repeated her lines. Really...I really loved her character...so even if she turns out evil...she is a classy evil.

  • Rana : Shattered! I think he is a great man. He himself went and fought in war! And like usually hear..war changes a person. The producers and writers done well that they included this! Just adds on the realism of the character. He is shaken and shattered by the loss of friends he had to face there, which probably have resulted him to become strict and disciplined. So when Raja and Rani wed...I wonder what will happen 😆

  • Gayatri : Adorable! She really was adorable with her childlike antics. Now anyone can tell that she is carefree, very joyful and also mischievous. But despite that she does have some mature factors in her. That I could tell from the way she was talking about Rana ji. She was proud that he is their Raja. She understood that he is a great man. If she was immature completely then she wouldn't care. Furthermore she wouldn't care to read books...she would rather be just riding her bike and playing around. Because I certainly hated studying and literature when I was younger and stupid (not saying I am not stupid anymore 😆 ) . I believe Gayatri is gonna be one hell of a Character!
Alright gonna stop here...the other characters r pretty clear.. 😆 Lets see what the coming weeks bring...just hope they don't make it too packed other wise it was awesome!!

P.S. If u disagree with anything then please don't start bashing or anything...the is is just my opinion u have Ur own...but u r most welcome to share so we can discuss because afterall this I a discussion forum.

Wow long post! 😆 Great detailed post! 👍🏼

I liked how the cvs introduced the characters. I think they might of added the bomb blast angle to pique the viewers interest.

Drashti, Sid, and Anita all acted very good. They portrayed their characters to a tee. I liked how Drashti portrayed Gayaytri's innocence. Sid exuded a royal aura. 😊

I actually felt it was a wee bit underwhelming despite the opulence and the scale the story was set against.

Your character sketches are bang on. I also agree that they were trying to pack too much in the short space of time,

Another thing...if the PH spent so much money in the details, why couldn't they get an Englishman with an authentic British accent?😕

The scene I liked the most was the one in the Library with those two adorable kids.

Btw,why are they calling Gayatri "Bhai"?

Loved the precap though.

Hahah well I kinda just kept writing and writing without realising how much I wrote. 😆

Yep I thought characters were introt very nicely and hopefully tmrw we'll get to meet Gayatri's family too. Looking forward to that. Yea...they probably added it to show the grandness too but that was what I felt that it just got a bit too much and due to that they couldn't handle it.

Indeed I loved their acting! A fantastic job well done!! They portrayed their characters with such ease!! Amazing!

Nice write up!! Agree with everything!
I was expecting a lot of Drama in the first episode n in that way it was underwhelming!

Hi... Really well writtn.. I agree with everything you said..
A lot of ppl felt that it was slow but I felt it was fast. There was too much info to take in such a short span.

But the show has potential.. fingers crossed

Thank you 😊
Glad to knw I wasn't the only one who felt that.

Hahha..u c I am from London and I too noticed that 🤣 oh well atleast they tried 😆

Yh I really liked the Library scenes too...it was first of the many characteristics we got to one about Gayatri...

Oh Yh...totally forgot about bhayya...Well my reasoning behind that is possibly the way she behaves. She has learnt to read and write. She rides. I believe she can drive too. She is very energetic and so not shy...which during that time was not how women were supposed to behave...e
And not to forget she is the daughter of one of the wealthiest land ownersor something like that. She is supposed to be a bit more lady like..

So am guessingdue to her boyish confidence and abilities kids call her bhaiya. 😆
