.. when they say her voice is ready for playback singing?

My confusion is whether they mean she is a complete package or does it mean her voice quality will come out well in playback singing or what?

I will take the case of Neeti Mohan who was by no means the best singer in the contests she took part in. I have seen her in muqabala contests(with other top reality song front runners) where she was in fact the weakest of the lot. However, she has had more playback singing offers than most of the others.

So when a person says good for playback singing, where the singer can have multiple retakes to get the right pitch, etc, is it only the required voice quality and the ability to be able to take different notes (and not always get it right the first time) that matter?

I think it's mostly the voice quality . Nithyashree was part of many Tamil tv reality shows and everytime she used to get applause from the judges. She sang a Tamil song with Vijay Jesudass ( son of KJ jesudas ) on Yuvan Shankar rajah's (Ilaiyaraja's son's) Music. She was 9 years then.

She is good no doubt, but I think the judges go overboard with their praises for her. Just because she has received praise from Lata Mangeshkar, they feel they have to keep on saying ready for playback singing.

Do not get me wrong, I enjoy her singing but if she is so ready why is she part of this show??

It's not her, the judges say so. And it's not her fault though. She is good and versatile and she proves that every episode.

She is the best in this contest, and she didn't get any credit from Lata Mangeshkar. It was another girl in the show. People may question her, why she is part of Indian idol junior, if the jugdes feel she is ready to be a playback singer. The jugdes might had felt that this is a good platform for her, to be heard by music directors.

There's one thing, viewers need to understand, Nithyasree hasn't said she is the best or she is ready to be a playback singer. It's only the jugdes and the music director 'Sachin' who had said that.

One thing I noticed judges gave over hyping to other reality show singers like Nithyashree and Ranita.

Both of them participated in their language reality show.show. Don't know what contract judges of this show has with them.

According to me if some can do playback right away is Nahid and the may be vaishnav.

There is no denial that Nityashee is a good singer ,simple also and her itna karona was one of my favorite.

But there is no need to over praise.praise. Becoz of that its going negative for her.

Ajay some times sounds me like shouting.

Thank you.. I didn't know that she has sung with Vijay Yesudas when she was a child.. Listening to it now after seeing your post😊 Is the other child mentioned in the credits, Priyanka, also part of the music industry/reality shows in the Tamil industry?

Judges over praise everyone even if they don't perform to that extent. And I don't understand your point what is going negative for Nityashree? She sings well, she gets praises from the judegs and as well as from the audience. Above all she is a humble and well behaved child and she has a huge fan following in Tamil Nadu since her super singer time of 2009. Nahid is good too and has a beautiful melodious voice. All kids are good in their own way, does not that mean they all are below or above each other. In reality shows, not only the talent, but the popularity too determines the winner.

yes, there were two more- Priyanka and Srinisha. One of the directors of Tamil film Industry Bala who was highly impressed by these three, recommended them to Yuvan. Hence this song!
