Zee Zindagi added the missing zest to the stale lineup of Hindi GECs in India. A very refreshing change.

However, there are only a few shows I absolutely loved.

ZGH- Do I even need to say why?!😆

Dhoop-Chaaon- Class apart! 😳

Behadd- WOWOW! Can't possibly go to sleep without listening to Nindiya Re. 👏

Kisi Ki Khatir- LOVING IT! ⭐️

Aaj Rang Hai- One show that shows the prowess of acting. Impeccable script. Probably the only show that dared to give slight insinuation about women desperate to find a male companion, and how sex is more than just a biological need, but an assertion of dominance. 😉👏

Not-good-not-so-bad

Humsafar- I know many would hate me for this, but the show had left me wanting for more in terms of Khirad being more assertive about her rights as Asher's wife. I found Khirad difficult to resonate with. Asher left me disappointed, too. But, what a powerhouse of acting talent the entire cast of Humsafar is!

Dil-e-Nadaan- AYYO! Why Sila, why? *spoilers* [Please read the content in red only if you've seen the show.]

I'm sorry, but Sila returning to live with Adeel was heartbreaking. Her husband didn't even flinch once before marrying his silly neighbour. Also, Adeel had no idea that his neighbour was hitting on him all the while, and *might* have played a role in creating misunderstandings? WHAT.AN.IDIOT! 😡

Mera Naseeb- The show had its highs-and-lows. I loved the friction between the mothers, and the backstory that explained what lead to it.

WHAT-THE-HECK-SHOWS!!!

Kaash Main Teri Beti Na Hoti- Okay, don't even get me started! 😕

Mastana Mahi- Concept of two wives living together, and competing for their husband's attention. BLEH! 🥱

Daastan- There is nothing I liked about Daastan. Show lacks redeeming factors. Romance is overdone, and lacks subtlety. I know the show's content was trimmed down to suit the temperament of Indian audiences, but it just didn't make sense to me, at all. Saving Grace- Saba Qamar.

One and only show I watch on zindagi is PYARE AFZAL and after that I have no plan to watch zindagi because I watch PA approximately 9 time before there and I am addicted of it ...that is the reason of watching it ...

Agree with ur list! ⭐️ I have few to add in love list, Maat I know we have many stories of Sister Rivalry before but I loved this one. Meri Zaat Zarra-e-Benishaan Another Classic By Umera Ahmed. Mora Piya I know it has a sensitive topic but was dealt with Sensibility and Subtly. I Agree with ur views abt Humsafar, Though it was meant to be A Hype but it didnt go down well with me. I loved it post leap more that too Fawad shone as the Tormented Broken Asher. But Khirad's Character and Mahira's acting didnt go down well with me. Just IMO. 😊 Dastaan, The less said abt it the better. 😆 The OTT Drama and Romance was too much for me. 🤢 I sat thru it only cuz of Fawad who too went OTT at sum places Saba Qamar, Ahsan Khan were sum relief. 😊 And Mehreen Raheel added sum freshness as Rabia. 😊

I would addHumsafar to the first list. The story was nothing great in Humsafar,but this show had great performances and the kind of impact this show made even with such a average storyline really impressed me.

MZZB too would make the first list. I wouldnt say I loved it,but it certainly is one show I would consider one of the best shown in Zindagi.

To the second list,I would add Pyaare Afzal,badi aapi and Dastaan. I guess akbari asghari too. Badi Aapi I liked watching for a reason I cant exactly point out. I think Dastaan is a touchy topic,I had issues with the obvious Anti-Indian concept and dialogues here and there,but the romance perspective I really liked. And the show had some great performances,so I would put it here. And what u said about dil-e-nadaan,I totally agree! W*F did you go back Sila? I wanted her to downright insult him and show that piece of shit his 'aukaat'

And in the last list,I would say Maat. Dont get me wrong,the performances were great in Maat,but I couldn't digest so much bitterness between sisters. I just couldnt get myself to like anything in this show. The only good thing about Kaash mein teri beti was Danish's pretty face. This show convinced me to never watch a pakistani daily soap. Horrible. Such gory nonsense they showed in order to extend the episodes. Even the title track made me cringe. This was one show I was sooo glad it ended. One more show I really disliked is that show with resham and faisal. I forgot the name. It even had nauman and imran. Utter nonsense.

I liked mastana mahi. Atleast most of it,the last part was bad though.

The other shows I think failed to get noticed by me for me to comment on them.

Kisi Ki Khatir ... a master piece for drama lovers ⭐️

Maya ... maya so much like me, the OST is my sleep time

Dur e Shewar ... classic show as i read the dvds of this show should be given in dowry

Dewana Kise Banahe Gi Yeh Larki ... unique intresting story
i became Nelaam Muneer Fan ,also my favorite director Sarmad Khosat

Ranjish ... just love the psychotic romorseless Minah ⭐️ though some characters are boring to death 🥱

Kaisi Yeh Qayamt ... beautiful story , & samiya , faisal, samina ji
were amazing ⭐️

Not-good-not-so-bad

Mera Naseeb ... though sanam is the main reason i starting watching it but loved the sisters shazia nazia bonding & luved Imran Sanam paring, the story was very fast paced

Meri Jaan Hai Tu ... watched it for sanam & loved her as Yamina but this the 1st show from where i strat liking Adeel Hussain as a good actor

Humsafar ... nothing new in the story but direction , screen play acting was good & sarmad khosat is one of my favorite directors

Waqt Ne Kiya Kya Haseen Sitam ... very senstive topic , awsome performences though sometimes the show become depressing

Zindagi shows started with bang .

Mine first is ZGH which was for me not a story but lessons in life .

Aaj Rang hai , something different with versatile actors .

Humsafar started growing on me after separation period .

Kisi Ki Khatir , a beautifully told story with emotions

Dastan again i liked when she reaches Lahore but was stretched too far. ,would have liked if have gone with the real story .

Most were on and off .

ZGH and HS are mine favorite . FK did great job in HS as asher in emotional scenes which were kind of explosive . He was subtle ,confronting his mother . Many times story is kind of repeated it depends on the director and the actors who give shape to directors dream .
