I played the teaser with an open mind hoping to be impressed after all the accolades posted on the forum (mostly from jealous Salman fans). Perhaps peeps missed out on the numerous Lord of the Ring movies or slept through the Jodha Akbar movie, but this in no way anything fresh and new. At this point we all know Bhansali is capable of great visuals and so the epic visuals in the trailer are nothing surprising. It all comes down to the actual movie and it has a uphill task of making sure that it is different from JA (which at this point seems unlikely). Also everything looks good in slow mo. The teaser also has no dialogues (save for the ending by Ranveer) and so you never know how Deepika's atrocious accent is going to sound in the movie.

Acting wise i think as the movie revolves around Ranveer therefore he will get the maximum footage. Ranveer deserves a best actor award though, after he was unjustly overlooked for RL. However, IMO its going to be PC not Deepika who will be the surprise package. PC looks in character with her goofy wife role who yearns to be a warrior.

This could turn out to be a great movie (it is always hit and miss with SLB) but unfortunately the budget is going to ensure that it'll be an average grosser at best.

So please join in to say your piece if you found the teaser underwhelming as i did.😛
