Agree with you both! From Parent's perspective, they will always want their kids to inherit their property. Relatives - yes they will help their relatives, but nothing can replace kids!
Keshav - At times I find his grumpiness justified, but most of the time I hate his constant complaining about life! If he is so unhappy, move out of the house, get another job and live respectfully!

right now I think Mukund is the most useless of all sons, as he is not earning a thing! And as someone wrote earlier in the thread - GN took care of his brother's family when they were not able to earn a thing, provided roof for free, food, clothing, shelter, comfort!!! so they shd be greatful!

If they think they are not getting respect in the family - move out idiots! You all are grown up men, should be able to earn independent of GN's favours, and if you can't quit complaining and eyeing GN's property! 😡

With due respect, every logic defying that Keshav is not the eldest son of the family is absolutely bullshit. Govind claims that he is a family man, involves Keshav in his family business for support but wants to give everything to Titu, vow slow clap👏👏... then tell me how Govind should reward Keshav for his services till date?? Or Keshav should do his work quietly without expecting any rewards just because he has to repay the favor done by Govind who supported his family

For the reference, plz refer to another serial in star plus known as "Saath Nibhana Saathiya". In that serial, Chirag and Parag are the two sons of 1st gen. Chirag is the elder one who owns the business and Parag is younger one who doesn't give a shit to it. Ahem is the son of Parag and since he was born earlier, he is treated as the eldest of the house. And since he showed his interest in family business, he is given major responsibilities of the business whereas Jigar, who is the son of the owner of the business Chirag, is younger to Ahem and even works as a junior to Ahem... And I find this very morally correct.

The reason for citing this example is that when you live in a joint family then you got to treat every son/daughter as your own. You cannot have any sort of partial feelings for your children. Instead of seeing Titu as his own son and Keshavn Mukund as his nephews, you got to treat them as three sons of house where Keshav is the eldest (and should receive that respect) and Titu being the youngest. That's how joint family runs..

To give more weightage to this, my own family has this kind of family structure and we find it morally correct.

What Mukund has in his heart, what Keshav is thinking of Sunder, what is running in Rekha's mind is altogether different topics and yes they are wrong in it

Guys, I think we need to take chill pill... All of us have our POV but I think we are now in a mode of trying to prove it to others... Please tone down a bit for courtesy sake

Hi
What some forget is that this is not a family business headed down from elder son etc.
But this is a business which has been set up by Govinda and he wants to pass it down to his son Titu which is natural.

i apologize if my post appeared rude, but I was referring to the characters in the show and my full wrath is intended to them 😆 and in no way to any member's opinion/post! Please don't take it that way. 😊

All said and done, there are two aspects to this twist.
1) Who is the Heir to Govind Narayan's Property
2) Whats fair?

Well, according to the law, the property does not solely belong to Govind Narayan (he is often quoted as saying that his father built it from scratch) so it belongs to him and his younger brother (Rekha's husband, keshav & Mukund's father) so technically it is a family property which should be equally divided between the two brothers i.e. Govind Narayan and his younger brother and further to their sons i.e Keshav, Mukund & Titu.

In the 2nd case scenario - I think Titu should get an opportunity to work in the family business, however point being - he is NOT the sole owner of it. Keshav has worked from day 1 and has helped build it up to the current glory. He is being treated like an employee which he is not.

The question is not of Govind narayan being a great man to take care of Rekha and her Sons, they in t urn contributed to the family and business. He however is turning a blind eye to the fact that Keshav deserves equal if not more for his efforts.

Its annoying to see how GN and Surekha are wearing rose colored glasses when it comes to this, I am glad that Bhagwati spoke for her husband and surekha realized her mistake.

I also liked the scene where Vaishali rebukes Panchi on how she reacted when her husband was unhappy for 2 days, where as she and bhagwati have to go through this ordeal every day.
