I dont know about that. But Anushka needs to be careful on how she is styled in the film. In JTHJ, she looked fugly in the second half - she was constantly dressed in baggy jeans and plaid shirts.
May be they wanted audience to believe that Kat is more beautiful and the other heroine is not. So that they could justify SRK choosing Kat over her. I think because of the styling and also whining of the character, she looked very insipid in the movie. It was a very mediocre role for her.
Anushka's character was an intern for Discovery Channel and I think her styling fitted the character. There's no point her dressing up in designer, glamorous outfits for the sake of looking beautiful if it doesn't go with the character.
Example, DP's character in YJHD looked very pretty in her denim mini skirt, but who wears a denim skirt when climbing a mountain?
Coming back to ADHM, its KJo. Everything is larger than life in his films. I think more than acting he'll be concerned with Aish and Anu looking as stylish and glam as possible. In KANK he even made sure Rani was dressed glam while doing the cleaning. 😆
