With R Balki currently busy with his next starring Arjun Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan, the rumour mill has gone into overdrive with news that Amitabh Bachchan and Sridevi could be paired together in the filmmaker's future project.
A source told Deccan Chronicle, "The project is in its very early stages. You can say that right now only discussions have taken place. Balki has shared the idea with Amitabh and the interactions have moved further. After the leading actors officially come on board, they will have to take this project to a studio. All this will take some time, as Balki is busy with his current film. But if all goes well, the film is likely to go on the floors by next year."
Bachchan has worked thrice with Balki, while Sridevi did a movie with Balki's wife, Gauri Shinde in English Vinglish'.
Bachchan and Sridevi have been a part of number of films together including Khuda Gawah' and Aakhree Raasta'.
