Avast, me hearties!

Today really is international Talk Like A Pirate Day 😃

Why?

Well...why not?

Talking like a pirate is fun. It's really that simple. It adds a zest, a "swagger", to your every day conversation. Do you need another reason? 😆

A fan of Captain Hook, or Captain Jack Sparrow...today it's the day for all (pretend) Pirate lovers to come out, and enjoy. 😊 Everything from childrens books, to box office hits.

Something...that most wondered about...

Can women be Pirates? 😳😎

They most certainly can. Being a pirate is a state of mind, not a matter of gender. It's about bringing pirate adventure into your daily life, and there's no reason women can't do that just as well or even better than guys. 😎 Some women are blessed at birth to be wonderfully adventurous, with the ability to enjoy fishing... be football loving, and some guys are lucky enough to be married to them. 😆😳

So anyways...

What makes pirates so popular?

First thing for sure, is their eye patch. 😆

P.S Just to clarify...real pirates were and are bad people and are in no way worthy of having a day after them 😛, but as we all know we're talking about pretend pirates.

I don't really like pirates and Pirates of the Carribbean is not one of my favorite movies but I like how Jake Sparrow talks. It's sooo funny. 😳😆

Of course, Jack Sparrow! He's hilarious. The way he walks, talks and does everything is funny.

I would love that. And if someone is thinking of making a movie like that, I have a few recommendations. 😆
