It indeed is a man's world. They can sow all their wild oats and yet get the best, nicest girl in the world to be their wife.

A girl with a past on the other hand is branded a s**t for life. Proof in the pudding, most bollywood heroines settle for divorcees or widowers while the guys end up marrying young, beautiful, single girls from good family backgrounds.

Bobby Deol dated Neelam for years and then conveniently dumped her for an arranged match with a businessman's daughter.

Its really tough for a woman to let go of her past, while for men its just a blur. And it helps that society will always judge the woman, never the man.

Anyway, to be fair to Shahid, I think he was really serious about Kareena and had they continued, he would have married her. After her, something seemed to have broken in him and then he was just having flings to get over her. But he looks genuinely happy with Mira, hopefully, he will remain a loyal husband, unlike his counterparts in bollywood.

ps; Could not help thinking that Mira is exactly the type of girl that Rishi and Neetu Kapoor would have wanted for Ranbir.😆
