For some reason, I just want to keep thanking all you readers out there for being this supportive. Thanks, really!

Chapter Six.

He could see her emoting her pain through the dance. She moved furiously to the beat with the ghungroos shattering the beads all around her. Some stomped by her feet, making her bleed. But she seemed to care less about anything but her anger, her pain - something she had kept suppressing since long.

He jumped off the boundary landing onto the shed beneath and then landed safely onto the ground in her backyard. She was hurting herself and he wasn't going to sit and witness all of that. Making his way through her shocked cousins, he reached near her. His eyes bored at her, but she didn't seem to get affected. She still moved roughly onto the ground that had beads, most of it covered in her blood. He held her arms and shook her, bringing her back to reality. She was drenched in sweat. His heart pricked to see her the way she stood in his arms.

She for once looked at her cousin's; signalling them to leave and they did as asked to. Turning her fierce gaze at him, she shrugged his hold off her. She couldn't tolerate it. His hands reached up to her face, while she inched away. Her eyes shot with rage. She wasn't willing to see any of him after what had happened.

He didn't know where to start from. Though he didn't feel like letting her hurt herself. She was in a terrible state. Knowing that somewhere he was responsible, he had to stop her, bring her out of all the pain that he had delivered. With all those thoughts running into his mind he scooped her into his arms.

She protested, however, he didn't care to respond, in anyway. "Drop me down, Now!" She ordered, while he pretended to have heard nothing.

Gulping the anger down her throat, she tried to calm her senses before she again asked him to place her down. This time a bit calmly, to which he replied, "I can't, you are injured. It would rather hurt you."

"Nothing in comparison to what you cause me." She spat venom. He deserved it, he knew. "Now, drop me!" She yelled at him. He placed her onto the plush cushion on the wooden ply. Lowering down to check those injured feet, he pulled her skirt a little high, and placed her feet on his legs. She shivered with pain and so did he along with her, in her pain.

"Sorry" he murmured, he didn't have the courage to even apologize.

"The damage is something you can't even imagine about. Your apology is merely nothing." She spoke in the air.

It hurts even more when someone states facts, as harsh as these. "Nandini..." he cried into a whisper. With her eyes shut, clutching the sides of her skirt as he cried out her name, she tried hard to not notice the pinch of emotion in his voice, a layer of emotion farmed in his brown eyes. Neglecting all of it, not recognizing any of it - She just couldn't let him shatter her, yet again. She didn't have the courage to fight all those emotions and go through the vulnerable pain, worsen.

"Go away, Manik." She asked him to leave. He tried to justify his unjustified deeds, though she wasn't willing to, she just couldn't. There was no reason to.

And with a heavy heart, he left.

Gadha kahin ka, if you can't see her pain then why do you even hurt her?

Yes he was responsible for her pain, but a mere sorry just can't be the remedy for her broken heart. The boy needs to introspect and be clear about his feelings and then woo his love back.

Nandini's fragile trust on him is broken and i can see what she is going through now!
