Deepika rarely tweets apart from during film promotion and she replies to a few celebrities only...yet she's leading. ⭐️ I'm sure she'd have a couple million more if she was as active as PC 😆

I think there's probably robots accounts but it seems pretty legit since Khans have the highest, and DP, PC among actresses.

Yeh i agree most of it seems prity legit but there r a few surprises...i wud expect ranveer to have more followers as he seems to be prity popular on social media...

As for DP, it wud be nice if she tweeted all the time n not jus during film promotions...as it doesnt let her personality come across...even on her instagram all the pics r jus of her during promotions, not a single candid pic. Many of the other gals may have less followers but it's nice to see them tweet regularly n about sorts of things, from what book they're reading to causes close to their heart or even dubsmash videos...I remember most celebs tweeted about the Nepal earthquake recently but DP didn't if I'm not wrong...? maybe she jus isn't able to let her guard down.

Amitabh/Khans and DP/PC seem pretty legit, they are helluva popular online.

Does Akshay tweet? I would assume if he had twitter he'd have over 5 mill followers too.

Not credible at all. People follow just for the sake of following and not just because they are a fan. Not all of the followers are fans of the celeb. Many follow actors like SRK, Salman, Aamir but bash them like no other.

She actually used to tweet quite a but when she first joined..not just during film promotions , but she's stopped being so regular in the last few years. She isn't so great at using social media or just didn't like twitter I guess. I do think she should tweet more as it makes her more relatable to fans and what not. No she didn't tweet about the Nepal earthquake but I don't think that's a measure of if she cares or not.

I may not rate Abhishek as an actor, but I love following him on Twitter.

The guy is jokes! He has great humour, he tweets cool pictures.

I would like to believe that Twitter follows are more credible than Facebook, because a portion of the followers follow celebs for the content of their tweets.

My friend followed Jaqueline and Esha cuz they're hot 😆, but once their tweets started getting lame and boring, he started to unfollow them.

Also, people tend to unfollow stars who RETWEET EVERY COMPLIMENT THEY RECEIVE.

It's credible enough if you don't count the MIDs 😆

Followers are followers ... You don't have to be a fan in order to follow someone ... I follow so many people I'm not fan of myself ... Just cause want updates or for some other reason.

Depends: It takes time for followers to grow, takes specific period of time ... All depends on RTs/favs ... Tweets to spread out ... How much you interact with fans or how much you don't ... Some people are popular enough their followers just increase fast ...

Not sure about India or BW, but the number of Twitter/Instagram followers are a huge deal here, for any kind of public personality, film industry or what have you. That plays a massive role in whether or not they get endorsement deals and other perks.
