Hey guys... I'm a silent reader of this forum and after reading all these amazing fanfics, I came up with this idea that would be perfect for our very own MANAN! I hope you will like it... Here it goes...

Character Sketch:

Akira Malhotra:

Fun-loving, caring, thoughtful, and with a cute and bubbly personality that could floor anyone... For the people she knows and loves! For the rest of the world, this college-girl is the diva that basically everyone warned you about! One of the biggest bullies of college, and closest to her twin Manan, this girl has the family name, and attitude to match!

Manan Malhotra:

Attitude, looks, style, charm, natural charisma... the boy has it all! The cherry on the cake? The boy is loaded with money, being the son of the most successfull doctor in town! But, looks can be deceiving as this boy is the bully-twin of Akira... This twin-duo is the talk of the town and the people no one messes with. Reserved, and open to only the people around him, this stylish collegian's motto is "revenge is a dish, best served cold!"

Sapna Saxena:

Thori si cute, thori si bubbly, dher saara attitude! This girl has it all, looks, a charming personality, and a ton of cash in the bank account to top it all off! But something that shines on the surface isn't always glittery all the way through!

A girl about 19 years old was singing and dancing beautifully to this number at her California - based arts academy. She stepped out wearing a pink tank top, shorts, a white blazer, a long necklace, and simple earrings. Today, she was going back to New York! Back to her loving mom, brother, and best friends. She went to the airport as soon as possible, and hopped on to the flight, super excited... She just couldn't wait. After arriving in New York, she got into the red ferrari that was waiting for her and drove off to her mansion where her mom and brother were waiting impatiently for her arrival.

"Akira! Kitni der karti hai tu aane mein!" Her mom started as soon as she walked in. "Maaa!!! Aap bhi na! Abhi to aayi hai... Thaki aayi hogi bechari!"

"Mannu, tum na bas chup hi hojao... Jab dheko, tab aapni behen ki tharafdaari karte rehte ho!" "Nandu! Just calm down OK? Seriously - I mean like seriously... mein abhi to aayi hoon aur aap dono pehle se hi shuru ho gaye... Pehle mujhe aandar to aane dete?!?!"

Hearing this, the mother-son duo broke into laughter with Akira joining in with them... This was it... their happy little family Akira Malhotra, her twin brother Manan Malhotra, and their mom: Nandini Murthy.

Guys... That was it... should I continue?!?! Plzz comment and tell me!!!

I'm going to post the next part... Just hoping that all of you will reply and spread some confidence in my writing so I can post new parts...

It was dinner time at the hope mansion... Yup... that's what we called the place - not the Murthy Mansion, not the Malhotra Mansion - the hope mansion... because for mom that's what me and Mannu are - her hope. Did I mention that I call my brother Manan Mannu and sometimes to calm down my mom I call her Nandu... It's not that bad though... I mean they make fun of my chubbiness and call me Laddoo... Anyways, coming back to the point, we sat down at the table to have dinner and started discussing how our lives were for the past 3 months.

"Laddooo..." Called Manan "Un logo ne tujhe academy mein andaar aane kaise diya... I mean voh kya hai ki tu hai to 19 years ki par apne is Laddooness - I mean chubbiness ki vajah se tu barely 16 lagti hai...!"

"Maaa!!!! Aap is mannu se bolo ki voh mujhe aise mat chere nahi to phir mein uski saari poll khol du gi!"

"Ek second... Laddoo, tu kis poll ki baat kar rahi hai... Kya kiya Manan ne iss baar?!"

Shit... I thought. I shouldn't have said that... Now bhai's glaring daggers at me and I'm stuck in an awkwardly compromising situation... Agar jhoot bola to mom ek second mein pakar le gi... Aur agar galti se bhi sach nikal gaya.. To yeh monkey mannu meri jaan hi le lega... Kya karu... Aiyappa!!! Help me... Plzzz.

IDEA!

"Haaa voh maaa... Yeh aaaj ki baat thori na hai... Vohhh tooo... uss din aapne jo blazer lekar diya tha mannu kooo... voh apne kisi friend ke ghar par bhool aaya hai aur usko mil bhi nahi rehi hai..." I said as calmly as I could...

"Bas... Itni si baat... Toh kya hua... Agar nahi mili toh nahi milli... Nayi aa jaayegi beta... Akira, tu bhi na... Khabi khabar dara hi deti hai mujhko...!"

Mannu looked at me, and I looked at him and we shared that secret twin smile that we reserve only for each other... He and I both knew if mom found out about his spot situation... Mannu would obviously go down, but I would've gone down with him as I knew about it... But didn't tell mom...

After dinner, me and mannu went up to my room to spend some quality bro-sis time while mom went to her study as she had some work from the hospital pending...

"Yaar... Ajj to tune heart attack hi de diya tha mujhe... Marte-Marte bacha hun mein..."

Kyu... apni behen par bharosa nahi hai kya... jo aise marne ki baate kar raha hai..."

Bharosa to hi nahi hai naaa... Voh kya hai ki tu meri behen hai aur bhai-behen hone ki naate ek doosre ko aisi situations mein daal kar chor dena hi to humara kaam hai naa... Aur vaise bhi choti behen apne bare bhai ke saath hi to ye karti hai naa...

"Mannnu!!!" I threw a pillow at him "Tu mujhse sirf PAANCH MINUTE PEHLE PEDHA HUA THAA!!!! HOW THE HELL DOES THAT MAKE YOU OLDER THAN ME?!?!?"

"Akiraaa... Apne BARHE BHAI ke saath aise baat karte hai kya?!?!"

"Mannu... Tu naa..." I couldn't complete the sentence because a pillow came crashing down on my face courtesy of my obnoxious twin... So I threw a pillow back at him... and soon enough... It became a full fledged pillow fight...

A little while later, mom came in and screamed "Yeh kya haal bana rakha hai tum dono ne kamre ka?!?!" We both looked at each other, then at the room, and then at the floor... About 5 seconds later, a pillow hit the both of us, as our mom joined our pillow fight too... After a making a giant mess and laughing 'till we couldn't anymore, we all just fell asleep in my room.

The next morning, they all woke up super early... A habit the Malhotra kids inherited from Nandini...

Akira's POV:

At the breakfast table, me and Mannu started talking about the London Dance Academy that we both had gotten a scholarship into... And then also about the acceptance letters we got from Oxford University... Although it may not seem like it, Mannu and I both are actually pretty smart - especially when it comes to science... I guess this trait of ours also comes from humari pyaari Nandu!!! Afterall, agar ma New York ki sabse successful doctor ho to ukse bacho mei bhi thori si to akal honi hi chahiye na?!

"Laddoo..." Mom's voice snapped me out of my thoughts. "Kya hua beta, kuch kha kyu nahi rahi ho? Aloo ke parathe to tere favorite hai na? Kya acche nahi bane?"

"Voh ma, mei yeh soch kar nehi kha rahi hu ki agar meine yeh khatam kar liye, to itne tasty paratho ki sirf yaad hi reh jayegi..."

"Aree Laddoo... Seedhe, seedhe bol na ki tu ek number ki bhukar hai aur agar ye khatam ho gaya, aur tune ek aur le liya, to mein tujhe tang kar kar ke teri jaan le jaunga!!!"

"Oye hello Mr. Monkey Malhotra! No one needs your side comments aur vaise bhi... Mujhe tease karna tumhare bas ki baat nahi hai..."

"Actually Ms. Angry Akira, you're right... Mein tujhe tease to nahi kar sakta magar, I definitely can remind you ki tu mujhse CHOTI hai aur iss vajah se, tu mera kuch bhi nahi bigaar sakti!"

I gave my brother my deluxe mom-ko-jaane-de-aur-phir-dekh vali stare and finished up with my breakfast. Mom bid us goodbye and then went to the hospital as senior doctor agar ek din ki bhi chutti leti hai to hospital mein tabahi mach jaati hai... Agar ek aur din ki chutti le li, to pata nahi kaun si aafat aa jayegi.

As soon as mom left, I was about to attack my twin for the breakfast vaali baat and a girl walked into the house. I recognized her as Sapna, a cute si larki whose bad fortune was that she messed with my brother. And let me just tell you, anyone who messes with my friends or family isn't spared by me nor my brother... EVERYONE including our ex-teachers are afraid of the Malhotra-twin duo...

Anyways, Sapna had insulted my brother when he had asked her out, aur phir hum dono bhai-behen ne aisi situation khari kardi that she had to become bhai's spot!

Mom doesn't know about it as yeh jo humara impulsive, almost bully-like behaviour hai - vo humne unse bilkul bhi inherit nahi kiya hai... Voh to uss insaan... NEVERMIND forget it... mein bhi kaha ki baat kaha lekar jaa rahi hun?!

AKIRA'S POV ENDED

Sapna walked into Hope Mansion ready for another day of following Manan's orders as his spot...

SAPNA'S POV

Naam to rakha hai Manan... I mean shant kism ki logo thara... par iski harkate to dekho?!?! Unbelievable! Mein ... I mean Sapna Saxena... Iss Monster Manan ki SPOT!!! Ohh shit! Aaj to iski behen bhi hai...!!! Yeh to Manan se bhi zyada torture karti hai... Kaha inki mom jo ek ant ko bhi nahi hurt kar sakti aur kaha yeh dono monsters... It's downright unbelievable!!!

SAPNA'S POV ENDED

"SOOO... Agai humari... I mean Manan ki SPOT right?!" Said Akira. "Ek kaam karna Miss SPOT... Yeh ghar jo hai na... bohot hi dirty ho gaya hai... I mean look at it... it's filthy... So what you have to do SPOT is clean it all up... Aur acchhe se karna k... We can't stand a job half done... It's horrible! Kyu Mannu?"

"Actually Akira... You're absolutely right... This place is a mess. Lekin mere pass ek aur idea hai... Agar yeh safai keregi, to aaj to hume humari servents ki zaroorat shyam tak nehi hai... To shyam tak ki inhe chutti dete hai... RIGHT AKI?!?!"

"You're absolutely right! ROBIN KAKA?!?!?!"

*robin kaka - the head caretaker of the house - comes running in*

"Ji beti... Aap ko kuch chahiye kya...?"

"Actually haa... Kaka, vo kya hai naa... Ki aap - infact aap sab itna kaam karte hai aur usually, sirf festivals par aapko chutti milti hai... So aap and the rest of the staff bakki ka din off le sakte hai... "

"Par beti..."

Kaka was cut off by Manan who said "Kaka, par-var kuch nehi, aap sab ko aaj aaraam karna hai, and that's an order... And agar aap ko payment ki chinta ho rehi hai then don't worry - aap isko ek payed holiday samajh lo!

"teekh hai beta... Jaisa aap dono sahi samjho... mein baaki sab ko bata deta hu..."

SAPNA'S POV

Oh shit! I have to clean this entire Mansion...! Jis Sapna ne aaj tak broom, duster, etc ko pick up bhi nahi kiya hai, voh aaj ek poore ghar-cum-mansion ko clean karegi... Sapna sweetheart... You are so ROYALLY SCREWED!!!!!!

Hey guyzzz... For starters, thx for all the views, likes, and comments, aur aise hi like aur comment karte raha karo. And next... So my parents are thinking about moving, and that means that my updates are going to be really, really awkward... so sorry if my updates aren't exactly up to par...! If you want a PM... I actually haven't ever done one... so you might want to PM me first because I'm awkward and new... And enough of my BS! Here's the update!

Sapna started cleaning up the house while Manan and Akira went up to Manan's room and started talking.

MANAN'S POV:

Isse bolo ya na bolo... But mujhse zyada to ye chize notice karti hai right?! Manan Malhotra... Calm yourself, and ek baar mein sab kuch bak de... What's the worst that can happen? RIGHT?... Bhooki sherni ke mooh me haat dalne jaara hai tu... Aiyappa ka naam le, aur hoja shuru!

"Vaisi Akkirraaa..." I started to say. But she shut me up right then and there

"Kya pareshaani hai... Mannu, tu theek to hai na... I mean like - all ok right?!"

Isse kaise pata chal gaya ki mein isse kuch serious-types baate karne jaara hu? But what if she thinks ki mein galat hu... Phir? Abe ghadhe, ye sab mooh kholne se pehle soochna chahiye tha naa... Par ab to baat shuru kar li hai... Bhukto beta, bhukto!

"Actually Aki... all is not OK... Mujhe lagta hai... I think k... I mean like... tu samajh rahi hai right?"

"Kaun kahega ki tu New York ki sabse successful doctor ka beta hai? I mean jaanti hu ki we're twins and all and issiliye hum gut feeling ke thru jaan sakte hai ki hum dhukhi ya pareshaan hai... Par meine tera dimaag pharne ka theka nahi le rakha hai... Koi personal mind-reading service nahi hu main teri aur na hi mujhe kise sapne mai aayega ki tu kehena kya chahata hai...! Mujhe lagta hai... I think k... I mean like... Seedhe seedhe bol na... Kya hai?"

"Voh laddoo... Mom..." Was all I could say before she stopped me.

"Chal... Uth! Chal..."

"What... Wait... At least yeh to bata de ki hum jaa kaha rehe hai!" I said. She told me to stop asking questions and just follow her.

We ended up in mom's room. She gave me a look and mujhe samajh aa gaya that she knew what I was going to say and I also found out ki hum mom ki room meh bhi ussi ki vajah se the... None of said a word... Hum dono ne apni so-called twin-telepathy meh hi baate karli and we knew what we had to do... Humne room meh search karna shuru kardiya...

Ek ghante badh, Akira told me to stop... She had found what we were looking for... Dheknhe se pehle, I looked around mom's room, and I was satisfied. Although humne room meh chaan-been ki thi, we made sure ki koi bhi cheez idhar ki udhar na ho. Mom is very picky ki uska saaman kaha jaata hai and she knows when we've been through her stuff!

I willed myself to look at Akira. Uske haath mei voh tha... I was really scared to look at it. I mean mei jaanta tha ki uss par kya hai... But somehow, I felt like agar meine ussko dhekh liya, it'll become real... Aur mei jaanta tha that if it became real, mei aur Akira apne aap ko rok nahi paayege... We would destroy him.

Akira gave me a look. I knew that voh jaanti thi that I'm scared. But it didn't make a difference because she was as scared as I was... Hum dono mom se bohout pyaar karte hai... and that one picture could change our entire lives.

I took a deep breath in, moved closer to my sister who was trying very hard not to look at it herself, and turned the pic around.

Jo meine dhekha, it just made me mad. It was him. Manik Malhotra - tounge-in-cheek, with almost a smirk to him, winking, and looking happy... I know ki voh sirf ek tasveer thi... but I wanted to go into that picture and destroy him... I looked at Akira and sensed that voh bhi utne hi gusse mei thi... We had to do something... Uss Manik Malhotra ko hum itni jaldi nahi chor sakte the...

MANAN'S POV ENDED

The Malhotra twins went downstairs to find that Sapna was still cleaning the house.

SAPNA'S POV:

Oh shit!! Yeh dono monsters aa bhi gaye... Lekin inse expect bhi kya kar sakte hai... Zindagi mei kabhi kuch saaf to kiya nahi hoga... Well at least mera almost sara kaam khatam ho gaya... Lekin in dono ko almost nahi chahiye tha sweetheart...! They are going to KILL YOU!!!

CRAP! Yeh to mere taraf hi aare hai... Kya karu?!?! I know! Kaam mei busy lagti ho... I'll just pretend ki meine un dono ko dhekha hi nahi! Chalo...!

"Sapna?"

God... yeh Manan mujhe kyu bula raha hai?! Koi aur punishment to nahi dene vala yeh?

"I know... I'm sorry... sorry... I know that I should've been done by now... It's just that -"

HE CUT ME OFF!

"I don't care! Bas... Just get OUT! And by the way, you don't have to come here anymore... You are free now."

WHAT! MEIN AZAD HU?!?! YAY!!!! But... Yeh dono itne pareshaan kyu lag rahe hai... Did something happen... is everything ok with them?! ... Mei in dono ki itni tension kyu le rahi hu?! I mean they have tortured me by making me their spot, saare school mei yeh sab ko bully karte hai, and agar galti inki ho, to apologize karte nahi, karathe hai! But then, directly na sahi, but I've seen that yeh dono students aur school ke liye bohot kuch karte hai... I don't know yaar...

"TUM AB HUMARI SHAKAL DHEKHE JAOGI OR WILL YOU LEAVE ALSO?!" Screamed Akira. Phir mujhe realize hua ki mei vahi karhi thi...!

"I'm sorry... Voh"

"Whatever" said Manan "Just leave, and don't come back!"

I grabbed my bag, took one last look at the twins, and left the house. Lekin pata nahi kyu, I had a feeling that I would be coming back...

What up... pichla post pasand nahi aaya kya?!?! Koi baat nehi... I've seen the number of views and get that a lot of you aren't actually members... But thori himmat do yaar... I freak out thinking did they like the part or not, should I change a part of the story 😕... And i could really use some suggestions on what to do next... Anywho, ye lo agla part and srry that I haven't updated in a while... as i said at the beginning of the last part, my update schedule is going to be a bit awkward!😛

It was late in the evening, Manan and Akira were in Manan's room plotting against Manik Malhotra when Nandini walked in...

NANDINI'S POV

Yeh itna quiet kya hai... Usually, jab Laddoo aur Mannu ek saath hote hai to pura ghar sir pe utha de te hai... Lekin aaj kya hua... Koi problem to nehi hai na?!

NANDINI'S POV ENDED

Nandini rushe upstairs to Manan's room to find her twins sitting on the bed, discussing something.

A: ... that's how we'll get him!

N: Get who? Akira, Manan, yeh kya chal raha hai... Kya plan kiya hai tum dono ne?!

M: Voohhh... Mooommm... Actualllyyy... Hummm...

A: Mannu, shut up! Mom, voh humari ek friend hai jiska bf usko chor ke chalegya... Just out of the BLUE... Koi text nahi, koi phone call nahi... Koi baat nahi... Not even a bloody dinosaurs ke zaamane ka e-mail! He just... One minute he's there and in a healthy relationship with her, the next POOF! He's gone! Tho bas we were trying to figure out agar usko trace karne ka koi way hai or not you know!

N: OK... To yeh baat hai... Lekin Mannu, tum itni si baat ke liye itna stammer kyu kar rehe the...?

M: Vooohhh mooommm... actualllyyy... meeiinnn... basss aise hi... I meannn... mere pass... mere paas stammer karne ki kya... kya vajah ho sakti hai...? Right?

N: Lekin tum ab bhi -

Akira cut her mom off

A: Mom, kya baat hai, aaj to aap bohout hi early aa gaye hospital se?! Kyu? Kuch special hai kya?!

At first, she asked this simply to divert her moms mind, but after seeing Nandini's expression, both Akira and Manan's curiosity was peaked.

N: Actually... Laddoo... Kuch special hi hai...!

Both Akira and Manan were happy for their mom as something other than the twins made her happy after all these years, but were also scared as to what this reason could be as they were in no mood to forgive him

A: Kyaaa... kyaaa...kyaaa

M: Iiiske kehneee kaa matlab haii kiii uhhh... kya SPECIAL reason hai mom?

N: Mannu, Laddoo.. Tum dono ko aapni Navya maasi yaad hai kya?! Kyun ki aaj tumhari maasi, tumhare mausa ji ke saath aare hai!

Manan and Akira together: REALLY?! Unko to humne itni der mein dhekha hi nahi hai... VOH AAJ AA RAHE HAI?!

N: Ha!!! Aur saath mein unki beti bhi aa rahi hai... Last time jab tum logo ne ek dusre ko dhekha tha, you were 8!

A: Oh my gods, meri behbyyy bhi aa rehi hai!!! YAY!

M: Mom. Laddoo, ab hum saari preparations iss room mein kare kya?! Niche jaakar bhi kuch karna hai unke grand welcome ka! I mean itni der baadh jo aa rahe hai voh log!

A: Pehli baar tune akal ki baat ki hai mannu!

M: Oye, hello Ms. Akal-less Malhotra, akal ki baat mein to HUMESHA karta hu... Bas ek tu hai ki samajh nahi paati...!

A: You're right... Mujhe tumhari baate bilkul bhi samajh mei nahi aate par kya kare... Kehte hai ki ek idiot ki baato ko understand karne ke liya ek idiot hi chahiye... Right mom?

N: Tum dono ka kya hai... Ek second mein jaghra karte ho, aur doosre pal mein ek dusre ki side lekar baaki sab ki band baajate ho... Lekin... Never change OK? Tum dono ka pyaar aise rutnhe-maanane mein hi acchha lagta hai... Anyways, tum dono aur jaldi se neeche aajo, aur hum sab milkar ek bohout hi awesome welcome aur dinner plan karte hai... OK?!

A&M: OK BOSS!

The twins and their mom went downstairs and started setting up for their guests. About an hour and a half later, they were practically ready when the doorbell rang.

N: Lagta hai ki voh log aagaye... Mein theek lag rahi hu na... I mean Navya se mein itne saalo ke baad mil rahi hu aur...

This time, Manan cut his mom off.

M: Mom... Aap humesha... I mean HUMESHA beautiful lagti ho because aap ki beauty aapke kapro mein chuppi nahi hai... Aap ki beauty aap ki personality mein hai... Aur rahi baat itne time baad milne ki to maasi aap ki best friend thi aur ab bhi hai aur time, space, vagera best friends ki beech KUCH BHI NAHI AA SAKTA!

The doorbell rung once again.

A: Chale guys to welcome our guests?

The twins looked at their mom expectantly.

N: Ha... Chalo!

The three of them went and opened the door where the twins found the shock of their life!

So guyzzz... that was another part... plz comment, and thori si jaan daal do story mein yaar!
