If you know your Bollywood gup well, you'll know that Kangana Ranaut is one who speaks her mind - to hell with consequences! With an all-journos-are-my-buddies' attitude, the actress is happy to tell them about the films she is doing (and more importantly, the films she's not doing).



Recently, she explained why she declined the heroine's role in Ali Abbas Zafar's much-delayed Sultan. In the brief interview with a leading newspaper, Kangana said, "Sultan's dates are clashing with Rangoon and I'm already committed to Rangoon."

That statement was enough to leave Yash Raj Films' head honcho Aditya Chopra fuming.



Come to think of it, it does reflect badly on YRF. After all, can't a top studio woo a leading lady for a big-scale production with Salman Khan?

What's worse, Kangana didn't stop there. She reportedly leaked details of the role too.

What did Adi do when he heard this? Simple, he picked up the phone on Kangana and gave her a piece of his mind. Predictably, a heated argument followed.

Said a source, "Adi said that it was highly unprofessional of her to give such statements out, especially about a film she isn't doing. And he asked her how the details of the role came out."

And you won't believe Kangana's reply to the head honcho! The actress, who is riding high on Tanu Weds Manu Returns' success, is believed to have said, "I'm answerable to my fans who want to know everything about me."

Understandably, Mr. Chopra was too stunned to reply.Clearly, Kangana, as much as we'd love to see you in a YRF film, it's not gonna happen anytime soon!

Although I like Kangana and her jhaansi-ki-raani avtar.. But the industry is too nasty to make any positive change now.. I am just afraid that her open and bold nature shouldn't cause any damage to her career..

In this case Adi is actually right...it was unprofessional of her n disrespectful towards the actress who will eventually do the role as everyone knows she was the first choice.
And it wudnt hurt kangana to be bit more respectful towards others

PS. I agree she shouldn't have leaked the role.

i know that some think of her as badass and stuff but this is not gonna help her or anything , being a star , an actor was and will never be about talent alone , connexions and diplomacy play just as an important role
