i actually found saturday's episode to be quite entertaining but i do agree that marks handed out this week from VS, BL, and HR were pretty harsh, yet giving out all 10s to every contestant doesn't make sense either so overall it was reasonable

btw, i actually didn't miss mauli as now every singer in the competition is at the same singing level and competition is stiff

As Shekhar mentioned, Aneek was sharp in several places. I noticed that he also had breath control problems and had a strain in his voice. These are things which can be easily rectified in a recording studio by adjusting frequencies.

However, for a live performance, it was not up to the mark. It was one of Aneek's weakest performances, IMO and he does not have too many of those.

quite possible that aneek's voice was strained after singing a difficult song like ek chaur naar, and since they normally shoot back to back, the strain showed. ditto with raja. i found his voice strained too.. he too had sung a difficult song. but the mentors getting downright insulting (hr to raja) was a bit much.

it's clearly zee strategy. how else can one explain two of the top contestants suddenly being pulled down so low for one average performance? with mauli's exit, the show has entered the final lap and now everything will be fierce. i've had this inkling for long time that zee's going to put raja and/or aneek in danger to whip up public sentiment and voting frenzy! and it's happening. after all, this the time zee's been waiting for. now's the time to whip up some passion and rake in some serious moolah!

i think it was the theme. some of the songs picked / their level of difficulty ( EASE 😆 ) did not help set SINGING bar.. In that sense, Musarrat and Poonam stood out.

may be Mussarat should Nafk's same song every week
if it help him to stay in race

without Mauli show was dull, and rating will be down also i am interested to see total vote this week it was 32 lakhs last week

Himesh has no choice. He just can not sing a different genre. I remember he tried a Rafi number (forgetting the title) in the beginning rounds but struggled with it.

i think most of the points were fair

aneek deserved the score he got..i mean if u don't sing well u dn't get a good score..ID wus the onlyy one who gave him more then wat he deserved

n when u sayy wat sheaker said bout the song being recorded for a movie buh still giving a low score..he also saidd that if it wus at a studio so theyy can record it overr again since aneek went off surr alot

n mussarat did a great job..buh i think hr gives mussarat bad songs on purpose cuz he onlyy wants aneek to have attention

i didn't like how hr started fiting with raja..n vs didn't even do anything bout it..n i didn't like ID giving raja a low score cuz even tho his singing wusn't the best ID wud give 10 to a lot of ppl on bad preformances saying that the 10 wus for past ones..how come the unfairr treatment to raja?? soo i didn't get y he gave raja a low score which reallyy wusn't fairr..i mean aneek sang at the same level as raja so how come he gave aneek a 10 n raja a low score??

i do agree tho i did not like the epi veryy much

Thanks for the thoughtful post. I think the reason you mentioned about two of the toppers giving a weaker performance on the same day makes sense. Raja sang a very difficult number in Friday episode in which he had to make quick shifts between male and female voice many many times over. I think the practice of this song put a strain in his voice and thus justifies his weaker performance on Saturday. The same could be said about Aneek.

even on friday he killed the comedy song. it was worse than Mauli's taal song

and some people said he is best? what a joke!!!!

Anyway , thanks for clearing some of my doubts 😃

Retakes are there if singers are not capturing the feel of the song, or the music directors want them to try singing something in different ways. Also if they make huge mistakes. These music directors probably record different lines of songs multiple times before picking which sounds the best

One of the most besura playback singers I have heard is Alisha Chinnai.🤢
They must do a LOT of adjustments to her voice
