My Last Lyrical tribute to Dev- Kajal

LOVE'S LABOUR LOST----- ON THE DEATH OF DEV AND KAAJJAL

A thousand galaxies beyond,
There unwinds a milky road speckled with gold..
Down looms high a palace nigh..
Such a one ne'er saw the mortal eye..
Fairy nymphs, flitting elves
Flaming flowers,silver fonts
Perfumed air, a scene so rare..
Hark the foot fall my dear...
It comes near and near
Oh the lovely goddess that flits in there:

Venus' her name,Love blossoms
Under her watchful care..
And human hearts she rules.
Countless stars wink and
Venus stands, shimmering somber.
Lost on her is the nights' magic..
Bent is her godly head
Rapt she regards,
Two golden roses in a bush so rare..
Soft she sighs, her divine fingers
Curling round 'em like an aegis.

By and by, the tranquil air
Turns a furious gale.
Yonder,a distant thunder
Rumbles deep n long
Follow the forked creepers of lightning
Golden tresses blown round like liquid fire
Gossamer gown beating away
Venus still stands, a silver streak...
The roses sway in the wind's fury...
Wildeyed,the goddess gazes helpless..
CRRRACK! the thunder falls
Ominously like a gunshot..Another n another..
A blinding lightning envelops the bush...
The wind howls n screeches....AWW
The goddess closes her orbs..

Soon a deathly stillness descends..

Lo! Love sees the bush snatched of its glory..
Down in the dust
Are the golden petals...Alas!!
Scoopin 'em up in her hands
The ethereal Venus
Racked by maternal grief
Blurryeyed stares..
As pearls formin outa diamonds
Two holy tears from her eyes are shed
Onto the rosy mound...
A quick metamorphosis...
Two teardrop rubies spit fire
From her pale palms..
Joining em with the utmost care
The lovely goddess a passionate kiss plants
Ahh!! Wonder of Wonders..What do we see?

A perfect ruby Heart is formed..❤️

Mistyeyed Venus smiles, whispers:
"Stay thee here,
Far from the fever and fret...
Thou shalt be my burning seal ever and ever.."
And wears the jewel on her fair bosom..

So the Legend of the Roses
In the minds of folks lives
Many a song is sung on em
Many a heart is healed by em..
And so is Goddess Love n her bright seal remembered..

Dear friends,

This is my elegy on Dev n Kaajjal's journey coming to a prematureclose. A lyrical rendering of my broken heart....😭
A journey that began with Pyaar hua chupke se,that last song is a fitting epitaph for DK...

GOODBYE KAAJJAL... YOU WERE LOVE IN ITS FAIREST HUE.....

Please come back DK, please ..... though i am sounding a little too much of an emotional fool, but thats how feelings are. they refrain to think straight.

but Apu-Surveen as DK will continue to rule all our hearts forever 😳 😳 and kaacon sethi at least can't force our hearts to accept any sort of childish circus 😃 😃
