Copy Cat vs Versatile.

First of all i was a huge fan of SRGMP frm 7 yrs...... i don wanna to hurt anybody ....The top seven of srgmp 07 are just fab......they r king of their own teritory.....no one can beat them.....but week after week if someone perform asper style that suits them it is not vry good ....Mauli is superb in Item no. but failed to perform romantic no...Amanat is vry good in slow,classical,romantic no but not good in fast,peepy no.......Mussarat is no doubt is best in Nusrat fateh Ali khan saab's song but why is he giving only his songs.....we have Rahat fateh ali khan so we want something different frm u Mussarat.....Raja also have not done a romantic no. in true sense....where Aneek gave superb romantic,fast,peepy,item,classical nos. week after week ....i think all contestants should learn frm Aneek how to deliver versatility rather being a copy cat of Mohd Rafi,Kailash Kher or Nusrat Fateh Ali khan.

I have seen all the episodes vry carefully bt i am not happy wit Amanat's performance may be all judges r happy but he is shaky wit fast no. don mind pls...it is my personal opinion...i felt in early days of srgmp 07 that mauli cannot sing all type of songs...that has been proved already....i am not trying to hurt anybody...but the fact is that n we have 2 accpt it.

to al those ppl who claim aneek copies sonu nigam... could it be that you feel that way simply cos aneek's tonal quality is similar to sonu's?! jaane kya chahe mann, dil se, ya ali, tauba main pyar karke, in dinon, bulla ki jaana and the few hr songs that he sang.. pray, where did you find him copying sonu in them? and in the sonu songs that he sang, well, his voice is similar to sonu's and his expressions would match the original if he's a singer worth his salt, so naturally it would sound similar to sonu's singing.. but would it be classified as copying?

to copy someone's style of singing is different from having a similar voice tone. to me shabbir kumar is a copy of md. rafi cos he copied rafi's singing, but sonu nigam is not even though initially ppl found his voice similar to rafi's. in the same vein, aneek sings as aneek and does not copy sonu nigam. he might sound like sonu, but he does not copy sonu.

if aneek copies sonu, then mussarat copies nfak big time, raja copies kailash kher/sukhwinder singh, poonam copies jaspinder narula, mauli copied sunidhi.. so there! 😛

he performed but that was the worst performance of the day. Really!!! he can prove his versatility only if he sings songs from different genre's good not by ruining them
