Why JA cannot end now?

I have been reading of JA ending and another show replacing and less TRPs etc etc

But honestly JA should not end now because

- This story was about the life journey of JA and they both are not even half way through their life together. A major part of their life is still to unfold.

- The TRPs may be down for hindi JA but what about the regional language JAs, what about JA shown across world in Russia, Indonesia etc on TVs. They are doing well is it not? So why producers and channel must think of only hindi serial TRPs?

- JA has a great cast be it the main leads, supporting or the new cast. Only story is sub standard and repetitive. If that changes the TRPs may improve in hindi. Because who want to see same saas- bahu drama and souten and dayan. Is not this the same story for past 15 years in every indian serial. So people have seen JA story in 1 lakh plus serials for past 15 years and want change

- What about the Salim-anarkali love story? In every form be it film or books it has been a hit specially the Salim-akbar clash. In this serial the story was twisted and childhood hate etc pushed down viewers throats in name of a classic. So the story must be shown. What was jodha's viewpoint on salim loving a dancer girl? What did his grandmom, brothers and friends feel? Its a reflection of society views of that time. And it should be handled as such instead of a pure love love story.

- How did jodha Akbar feel about Salim revolt to save anarkali? Yes jodha supported her husband but as a mother did she not feel concerned about her only son about his safety his life. Was she OK if Akbar defeated and killed him for his bhagawat? although she supported her husband externally. And what did Akbar feel about his son going against him for love? Not common in those times to go against family, parents and society for love.

- How did Akbar-Salim reconcile finally? Or did they just act as if they reconciled for sake of the empire or for family? etc

-What about Akbar din e illahi? Did his family like it, oppose it?

- How did Akbar feel when Abul Fazl was killed by Salim?

- How was Salim, daniyal and Murad relationship?

There is so many angles to explore alas the writers have failed the viewers and history badly. Instead of all this they are linking Akbar to various girls be it vishkanya, assassin, dayans etc and Jodha saving him

I think JA should be shown atleast till Akbar died

VERY WELL SAID PREM. THERE ARE MANY THINGS UNTOUCHED AND MANY STORIES STILL UNTOLD AND HENCE JA SHOULD STAY TILL JALAL DIES

BUT UNFORTUNATELY IF YOU SEE, JA BEGAN TO DONWSLIDE BADLY AGES AGO. TRPS HAVE BEEN DIPPING FOR LONG. TRACKS ARE ILLOGICAL WITH NO RESEMBLANCE TO HISTORY

THE CHARACTER AND ESSENCE AKBAR THE GREAT IS HARDLY VISIBLE.

EVEN THOUGH JODHA IS SHOWN TO BE MAHAAN, EVEN SHE SPENDS MORE TIME WEEPING THAN DOING ANYTHING OF VALUE

RUKS HAS BECOME A SCREECHING AND TORNADOFYING QUAGMIRE. HB, GB SB ARE MORE SILENT THAN EVER, AND IF THEY DO SPEAK, IT IS ONLY ON TRIVIAL MATTERS

IF CHILD SHARING AND HH DEATH WAS INTOLERABLE,

CHITTOR WAR WAS WORSE,

SALIM AFEEMING TOOK THE SERIAL TO THE LOWEST LABYRINTHS

ANAR SALIM SHOW WAS SO PATHETIC THAT EVEN CVS COULD NOT WATCH IT

THE ENTIRE JODHA CONVERSION ISSUE WAS BADLY DRAGGED AND PRSENTED ILLOGICALLY

AND NOW THIS DAAYAN AND HER MAA SEEM TO TE LAST STRAW 😡

THERE IS NO PROMISE THAT THINGS WILL IMPROVE ANYTIME SOON

SO MY VIEW IS THAT, SAD, THOUGH, IT MAY BE, BUT I THINK JODHA AKBAR HAS RUN ITS COURSE

UNLESS A MIRACLE HAPPENS

Agree 100% with you. I honestly do not think it will end at this point at least.

This track is getting interesting considering the fact that Jo is now aware of Jalal's situation and is taking appropriate action.

Like you said there is a lot that still needs to be shown. I think the MEA track will be very interesting too as long as they focus more on how it affects Jodha, Jalal and Salim's relationship and less on Salim and Anarkali. It will be a test for the three of them as a family.

Keeping my fingers crossed that the show goes on for a long long time. This is the first serial I am watching and I like it a lot. Just love the leads and the supporting cast.

Well written. I agree that the popularity of the show in countries like Indonesia and Egypt alone justifies its existence. The goodwill that it is getting for India in these important countries is priceless. Governments routinely spend many multiples the budget of JA to get this.

As you said, the various stories related to Salim are incomplete. The problem here is that the audience is not going to accept the present incarnation of Salim. He has been butchered too much. In Dec, Jan the Salim that was shown was a monster and few are going to forget that. Couple that with the fact that our Salim is not a same caliber of actor as Rajat or Paridhi and we have a problem.

The Salim that is needed has to be handsome for the casual audience and a good actor to stand toe to toe with Rajat and Paridhi. Most importantly he needs to have such an effervescent personality, that he wins over viewers angry that he has displaced, Akbar and Jodha as leads. The present Salim fails in this respect.

I also believe that to show Salim in good light(in appearance), to portray Akbar as a hairy spectacle is a bad idea. If Jodha can be shown the same as before leap then why not Akbar. That hairy face repels many viewers who associate it with the leap.

Logic tells me that the exit is near. If Paridhi's contract is up for renewal, there is no way she does not go for a major hike in salary considering her popularity since JA started. I don't think Ekta and team will be able to afford that.

Popularity does that, it gives you a lot more choices. And Paridhi regularly headed OMAX ratings for the past 2 years.

I know Salim was really obnoxious as a character and as an actor as well but I personally have started liking both Salim and Ravi since the past couple of months.

Salim: In the beginning they showed the the grown up Salim who had just returned from being away from his family for years together. The separation had not been a happy one. So there was all this suppressed angst against his parents. Later after living in Agra he got to know his parents better especially his mother and things changed for him. His attitude became more positive.

I don't know if I consider that has butchering his character. He was portrayed as the usual bratty teen to begin with who thinks he knows better than his parents but later realizes his parents are not as bad as he thought them to be.

Ravi: His acting definitely appears amateurish when he is pitched against a veritable virtuoso like Rajat. But then few can stand up to RT's talent. He is a rare one. Having said that, Ravi's acting has improved a lot recently I just wish he works on his accent.

Just my two cents.

well i dont know whether its ending or not only time will tell tht. it may it may not. but the prob is the tracks which ur talking about r mostly based on salim centric or mostly revolves round salim, whereas the show is about jodha akbar. big leap shouldnt have been taken so soon bcoz it took the lime light away from jodha & akbar. akdha centric doesnt mean divorce drama or playing witch witch but proper tracks. many tracks could have been shown before the leap. even many akdha tracks before leap r incomplete. im will not talk about the actor salim, bcoz its not about the actor. even if ravi was a better actor than rajat or if anar was better than pari, then also majority audience wouldnt had accepted it bcoz the show's name is "jodha akbar". it would have been better if the PH had taken about 2 yrs time before jumping into the big leap or at least they would have treated salim-anar as a side story & not a main one as they did in the beginning. the screen space & imp. of the leads badly suffered at least in the initial months & now when things r akdha centric then also tracks r ridiculous. CVs cant run a salim centric show in the name of "jodha akbar". if u really want to watch salim's story i think for salim they should start a new show with his name only & release RT-PS bcoz to be very frank the actors needs really sumthing new. srry not to hurt anyone just a personal opinion.

Right Prem... When there are numerous serials running with baseless plots and unnecessary lags, I don't understand why the CVs of JA are failing to put up with show. They need not rack their brains for tracks as they have all information in form of history.. they just need to keep their useless creativity aside and follow the books.. that would serve everyone's purpose.. the takers, the makers, the viewers, the actors and finally the TRPs.. and then Zee might reconsider the decision of taking JA off air..

Hi everybody, very nice post indeed. If only the cvs, ph n zee think only one % like us. But they won't as they r very thick skulled n so...😡if we start then no stopping . so I leave it at tht.

in my POV if they want to really save their show, they have to do some +ve things first. They have to concentrate on the main leads of the show both real n reel. people already have a strong opinion reg. the real AK n MUZ. so they have to maintain atleast some of that onscreen otherwise they will get this type of result. Instead of concentrating on these nonsensical NRs they could have introduced some kind of political issues. If they do that people will start watching it again.

First of all they have to remove the idea of glorifying Salim in this show They have to reduce their love for Ruks n negativity. Even in this track they r showing Salim as a great warrior, strategist, noble etc... n Akbar n MUZ as dumbs n Ak only has one thing in his life that is enjoying it to the fullest like romancing his wife unknowingly coming under Bm n some other ridiculous things which r really uncalled for an emperor of his caliber... where as people clearly know who is who.

They can take some kind of a back leap n complete the unfinished tracks like sujamal, MC, AbulMali etc.. They can do that if they really want to run the show. Then the show also gets back its lost glory.

In case of reel leads, they have to utilize their talent properly. They need to change RTs look first thing Its very annoying n ridiculous to show only him as old n leave the rest of the actors as they r. If the cvs fail to utilize the talents of the likes of RT n Ps then only got will save these dumb CVs since they can not get these kind of actors more often.

Atleast for one r two tracks if they show Akdha centric logical tracks, then they can show one SA track.
