HE is worried that JANNAT PREFERS Shaad over him...so he doesn't think GETTING HER MEMORY BACK WOULD MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
As far as a he can see, she is connecting well to Shaad..not JUST as a HUSBAND, but as a good friend too...and he feels she has DEVELOPED STRONG FEELINGS for him too...His memories can pull her back- but how Far? Along the line, she'd have to make a choice...which increasingly becomes clear to him- It won't be him.

Sanam rescued and kidnapped by a villain would definitely go back to Ahil.
What about a Sanam rescued and 'protected' (since she said that mehfooz dialogue so proudlyđ)by a person she feels so indebted to , when she is asked to go back to an Ahil she doesn't trust one bit?
I have a feeling Sanam will end up marrying Ahil without regaining her memory- but knowing he is her lawful husband- ..and Chudail would have built up on the tale she told about the Nawab's 'habits'...
Lets see what this is about...Until the nikah happens, we will not know what they are trying to show.
I don't feel Ahil has objectified Sanam...the more he is trying to help her regain her senses, the more he is realising that Sanam is too far drawn to this new man...whom she would choose over him as her future...and he is not sure if her marital status matters more than what her heart wants... That is the explanation given...
