Is it right to blame Madhuri Dixit & AB in Maggi controversy?

Is it right to blame Madhuri Dixit and Amitabh Bachchan in Maggi controversy?

Yesterday in Arnab Newshour debate, i was on the Celebrity side that Madhuri and Amitabh did nothing wrong... if some local authority is corrupted and has approved Maggi why are brand ambassadors are liable for it.

And if celebrity has done wrong so did all those channels who earned from showing advertisements on their channels even TIMES NOW.

But again focus of debate turned to MORAL POLICING.

Arent Celebrities morally responsible for picking up brand endorsements.

How on earth the celebrities would know what is there in maggie or any brand for that matter?

Celebs wouldn't endorse anything that is harmful for their audience, and Maggi has been such a brand with every household having it, I am sure Madhuri or AB would have never imagined something harmful will be in it! So no they shouldn't be blamed because they don't know the ingredients and how its made

But at same time, they are face of the brand. They are encouraging people to buy it and they both are superstars, especially Amitabh whom people follow religiously - so partially they have to be blamed!
