Big B took the credit for polio eradication in India as he campaigned for it. Similarly he must take credit for this too.

Hajmola is right.

If Amitabh can take credit for polio eradication in India then why not take responsibility for endorsing wrong products?

He endorsed Cadbury and Pepsi also despite controversies of worms and pesticides.

No credibility. Only moolah.

Madhuri is also desperate. Sorry but her ad was worse because it had words specifically on nutritional value of Maggi and was about Maggi being perfect breakfast. "Taste bhi health bhi".
Just wrong to give such a message to masses and misleading as well.

They deserve their share of blame.

If some model would endorse it would they blame them too? I think the only ones to blame is the company.

And then was Madhuri supposed to send the product to a lab before signing the signing agreement?

Maggi is in market for years now and is manufactured by an international comany. How was she supposed to know?

They have a image in the society , a very trustworthy image that is. In a country where Amitabh Bachhan is worshipped like God, when he promotes a product and say its good people will automatically trust him. So yes they are responsible and they should have looked into the quality of the product before agreeing to endorse it.

If you openly claim its healthy for children and then it ends up a product stuffed with lead that slow poisons people, you should be sued. How dare you act this irresponsible when u r such big names in this country,.

The sales of the product increases when a celebrity promotes it.They get paid crores of money to promote it so can't they be held responsible for it.

How can you blame the celebs for endorsing Maggie? It's such a well known brand that millions have been eating way before these popular celebs started endorsing it. No one knew anything negative like this would come out of it. Most people eat it because they personally love it, not because a very big top star is endorsing it.
