In first week of Dharamsala she did best. 2nd week she was unsatisfactory .
Actually there can be two possibilities the execution of Jannat by writers are really poor or Surbhi needs more time to get stable and show consistent in character Jannat.

Over acting.
She made Jannat seem possessed and hormonal rather than disoriented & amnesic. I've to put aside her OTT to feel for the character, which is not easy always.

Well I won't blame Surbhi here. It's all cvs fault. Except for the first scene after the accident & her memory loss in forest nothing else was there for her to do in show. They were busy to promote an amnesia victim conned by an army man using Asya bg & bringing back zoya Tanu version 2 through jannat sk. So my answer is Surbhi didn't have anything to do in this two months as jannat except for the first scene of her memory loss.

I agree here.
I feel the character was not well defined. And if the actor does not understand the character well, how will she act?
the writers wanted to bring the erstwhile Zoya-Tanveer feel(I haven't seen Season 1 but read this on forum, were they both really this childish??) and were not entirely sure of where to take the major and his victim.

Whether the character is ill-defined or well defined, how the actor pulls it all thr' is what I call acting.
she just slipped in to Zoya/Sehar mode, there was no Jannat, in the bits & pieces i watched.
Considering she had played Sanam & it's Sanam who has lost her mind, Jannat should be an altogther different person.
I won't lay everything on the bg or Tanveer equation. it gave Asya feels, because she was Zoya.

I saw Jannat only in the hotel room, when she was doing the touch test.
Let them all share the credit for the fiasco that Fakeistan turned out to be.

I won't agree jannat as zoya or seher. Both zoya & seher had there own characters & personality. They are not this clingy types idiotic women like jannat.

Ya but I think, what if the Cvs wanted it that way, after all we don't know the whole story behind the scenes.
And yes it was more like zoya/seher, but I think Sanam was actually like that talkative, and u can cal patakha type.
And also it's very difficult to portray 4 different personalities accurately, and keep the 5th one to herself (5th one is surbhi's herself personality). I think what she did was more than enough although I do think that she could have done much better.

I don't know why people says jannat as seher or zoya just because she talks a lot? Initially sanam too talks a lot. But all the three had personalities. Not like this dumb jannat
