This week, the discussion of the week will focus on the cast and story of the movie Aggar.

Here's a short preview of the movie to help you with the discussion

A woman discovers that, becoming attracted to the wrong man can have deadly consequences in this taut and tense thriller. Janvi (Udita Goswami) is a woman whose life would seem ideal on the surface: she runs a thriving business and is married to Dr Adi Merchant (Shreyas Talpade), a psychiatrist.

But a faint air of discontent has begun to creep into her relationship when Aryan (Tusshar Kapoor), joins Janvi's company. For the first time Janvi impulsively gets drawn into an acquaintance, which she believes will give her something to live for. But in a strange twist of events she realizes that she has stumbled badly and tries to break off her affair. Aryan, however, is not willing to give her up so easily, and his attraction to her soon becomes a dangerous obsession threatening to wipe out Dr Adi's existence forever.

Aggar is a story of electrifying Passion, Betrayal and Terror.

Yep I have. the promos of the song "Ke Bin Tere" and "Nachle"

* Have you heard the songs from the album?
I have 😊 I've heard all of them, but the one I keep paying are Ke Bin Tere, Nach Le, and Paas Aya Kyun

* Which is your favorite song? Least favorite?
My favorite song is Ke Bin Tere 😳 Least favorite would probably be Aggar... lol the title track's not very good IMO

* How would you rate this album overall, with 1 being the worst and 10 the best?
it's a pretty good album, so I'd give it around 7/10

* What is your opinion of the music director Mithoon? Compared to his other work (The Train, Anwar and Bas Ek Pal), where does this album stand?
I think Mithoon is an amaaaaazing MD. Not only as an MD, but I think he sings awesome. I kinda like his other albums a little more than this one 😆 but this one's good nonetheless. So I think this album would go under his "Quite Nice" category

* What can you say about the story of the movie? Is it gonna be a hit with the audience in India?
After reading the story desc. it sounds pretty interesting... much different than what I thought it'd be like 😆 And I liked the description. It does sound interesting, however, considering that the star cast doesn't hold many public-favorites, this film MAY have to live on it's story. I can't really say anything at the moment though, but I hope the movie does well

* Is the cast appropriate for the characters in the movie?
I think the cast is pretty interesting actually. But it's kinda wierd seeing Tusshar Kapoor as the potential breaker of the relationship lol... whenever I see his pics, he looks like such a good boy. Chocolate hero. So it should be interesting to see him carry this role... he was in Shoot Out after all

*What do you think of Tusshar Kapoor as an actor? Do you think he would have lasted this long in the Film Industry if it wasn't for his family?
I don't really know Tusshar Kapoor so much, rather, I haven't seen many of his movies. As an actor, I don't think he's proved his mettle just yet. But I think his time's coming soon... he looks quite nice in the Nachle trailor 😳

* Do you think he fits the role of a crazy and obsessed lover?
Lol nope. Not right now... but maybe it'll turn out to be a good choice for the role

* How would you rate Shreyas Talpade as an actor? Have you seen his other movies? Did you like them?
As an actor, I rate him 9/10. I've seen him in Dor, Apna Sapna $$, and others. I have a soft spot for the guy, and I think he acts great 😊 My favorite movie of his is Dor

* What do you think of Udita Goswami as an actress? Are her performances always up to the mark? Does she have a good future in the Film Industry?
I haven't seen any Udita Goswami movies, so I can't really say. Wish her the best, though

* If you could change the lead actors in this movie, who would you choose instead of Tusshar, Shreyas and Udita?
For these roles, I can't really think of any at the moment. I could kinda see Saif in Tusshar's role though.

I have seen the promos of Nach Le, Ke Bin Tere & the title track. Just saw the promo Paas Aaya Kyon.

* Have you heard the songs from the album?

No, have only heard one - Ke Bin Tere as i feel it is a good track 😊

* Which is your favorite song? Least favorite?

Favourite song: Ke Bin Tere... & Least favourite(s): Nach Le (I keep thinking they are going to sing Woh Ajnabee any minute 😆 as it is in the same style/pitch😳) & the title track as I feel it is not strong enough, after all Aggar is part of the triology after Aksar 😳

* How would you rate this album overall, with 1 being the worst and 10 the best?

I'd give the music 5 out of 10 😊

* What is your opinion of the music director Mithoon? Compared to his other work (The Train, Anwar and Bas Ek Pal), where does this album stand?

I feel his best album is Anwar, followed by Bas Ek Pal, then The Train n then Aggar 😊 He's still got a long way to go, so its ok for him to experiment with different styles, altho it is a shame that Atif has not sung anymore for him as I feel he (Atif) could have easily sung Ke Bin Tere 😳

i liked his previous work a lot so im hoping this one doesnt disappoint me

the story seems interesting but nothing really fresh...i would probably watch it but not more than once

Nope... i think the cast, aside from Shreyas, is quite weak actually.

Tusshar has always been one of my least favorite actors. I dont think he can pull off his roles well... sometimes it feels like he's trying too hard and at other times it feels like he doesnt care. I think the only reason he has gotten this far is cuz he's related to some of the big names in the industry.

nope...i cannot see him in that role at all
* How would you rate Shreyas Talpade as an actor? Have you seen his other movies? Did you like them?
i've only seen apna sapna and i thought he pretty ok there. i think he has a good future in the industry

i think i've only seen one movie of hers...i cant even remember properly... i dont know how she is as an actress so no comment for now...

i would probably keep shreyas and like rachna said, i can see saif as the crazy obsessed lover... as for the female lead, no one is coming to mind right now...

I'd give it around 6/10 😊

I liked his previous albums and like most of the tracks from this one as well. 😛

Yes i have seen the promos: nachle, ke bin tere jeena nahin, paas aaya kyun and aggar.

* Have you heard the songs from the album?
Yes i have the song of the album, they sound pretty good.

* Which is your favorite song? Least favorite?
My favorite song would have to be Paas Aaya kyun because it is an amazing song and the feel is totally different. right now my least favorite song is the title song.

* How would you rate this album overall, with 1 being the worst and 10 the best?
I would give it a 7/10.

* What is your opinion of the music director Mithoon? Compared to his other work (The Train, Anwar and Bas Ek Pal), where does this album stand?
I don't think this album is all that great comapred to his other albums. most og his other albums obly have 2-3 songs that you cna actually get hooked to and this one is no different.

It looks like the same story as aksar and the music was a hit and i belive this will be the same case with this movie. Don't really think the movie will be a hit.

* Is the cast appropriate for the characters in the movie?
The cast seems fine and tushar looks like a lovesick puppy. The actress is probably married in the movie and he's going after her.

*What do you think of Tusshar Kapoor as an actor? Do you think he would have lasted this long in the Film Industry if it wasn't for his family?
I think he's a good actor and with golmaal he really proved that he can do anything. he probabky would not have lasted this long if it wasn't for his family because he is recognized as jetendra's son and ekta's brother.

He sure looks like it.

* How would you rate Shreyas Talpade as an actor? Have you seen his other movies? Did you like them?
I have seen his other movies and i think he's a great actor.

No her performances are not always up to the mark. I don't really like her much. she's kinda wierd looking. I don't really think she has a good future.

I think that Mithoon is a genius!! He has made another great album. I look forward to listening to more of his work.

The story does sound interesting to me, I don't know, but somehow it seems to me like it has been done before though. It is like a cross of Ankahee and Darling. Maybe the execution will be different.
* Is the cast appropriate for the characters in the movie?
I don't know about that. Tusshar and Udita do seem like a strange pairing but I will be willing to watch the movie and see if they can do justice to these roles.
*What do you think of Tusshar Kapoor as an actor? Do you think he would have lasted this long in the Film Industry if it wasn't for his family?
Really, I am not a fan of Tusshar Kapoor. However, you have to be fair and say that he has improved lately. But at least in the beginning of his career almost all his movies flopped. Probably without his family he wouldn't have come so far or lasted so long.
* Do you think he fits the role of a crazy and obsessed lover?
I think that it is all about his acting ability in the end. I didn't think of Esha Deol as an obsessed lover before I saw what a good job she did in Ankahee. I think Tusshar might do a good job in an unconventional role like this one.
* How would you rate Shreyas Talpade as an actor? Have you seen his other movies? Did you like them?
I really like Shreyas! He would probably be one of the main reasons I would go to watch this movie (that and the songs of course!) I have seen Iqbal in which he did a brilliant job Dor, and Apna Sapna Money Money. I thought that all three movies were great and that he did a really nice job in all three.
* What do you think of Udita Goswami as an actress? Are her performances always up to the mark? Does she have a good future in the Film Industry?
Not really a big fan of Udita Goswami either. I don't think that she has always done a good job in the roles that she has done, and she hasn't been able to make much of a mark in the film industry of yet. Maybe this movie will serve as her comeback film.
* If you could change the lead actors in this movie, who would you choose instead of Tusshar, Shreyas and Udita?
Tusshar-----Hrithik, it would something completely different from other roles he has done
Udita--------Preity
Shreyas-------I would keep him, I want to see him in this role.

I'd probably give it about a 7, especially because I absolutely love Ke Bin Tere and Paas Aaya Kyun! 😳

I think he's a great addition to the music industry! I really like his style and I love his style of singing, it's very fresh! Well, when I compare, I definitely liked his other work better than this one, even though this album stands high! I loved Bas Ek Pal and The Train, I haven't heard many songs of Anwar, only Maula Mere Maula which is beautiful!

The music is pretty good... if you haven't heard any songs, definitely listen to Ke Bin Tere and Paas Aaya Kyun! 😃

Well, after Jem mentioning it in her post, I know it's a sequel to Aksar, which I thought was an okay movie but absolutely loved the music of! I feel like this will be kind of the same situation! I don't think it will be a hit... especially considering the star cast!

* Is the cast appropriate for the characters in the movie?

Well, I don't like Udita Goswami at all, I don't find her to be a good actress and Tusshar may be landing his feet in B'wood post Golmaal, but I'm not sure if he can play the role of an "obsessive lover!" Shreyas might be the only one that may do justice to his role... I think he's a pretty great actor!

*What do you think of Tusshar Kapoor as an actor? Do you think he would have lasted this long in the Film Industry if it wasn't for his family?

I think he's average... before he was below that! 😆 He did well in Golmaal, it's difficult to play a character without lines! As for lasting in the industry, definitely not! I think it's his name that has kept him in... of course, now it may be harder work but initially, I don't think any of his movies were considered good or a hit at the BO! 🤔

* Do you think he fits the role of a crazy and obsessed lover?

Hehe... no, I can't imagine him like that! I guess I'll have to watch and see if he justifies the character!

* How would you rate Shreyas Talpade as an actor? Have you seen his other movies? Did you like them?

Overall, I'd give him about a 7 or 7.5! I've seen Iqbal and Apna Sapna Money Money! I think he was absolutely fabulous in Iqbal, I'd rate him as a 9/9.5 for that movie but ASMM was just a comedy flick and I don't think he played an integral part of the movie, that movie was all Riteish's! He was okay for a supporting role, though!

* What do you think of Udita Goswami as an actress? Are her performances always up to the mark? Does she have a good future in the Film Industry?

I don't like her! 😃 YAY... I can finally say that about someone in the industry! 😆 I don't think her performances are ever up to the mark, she's not at all a good actress in my opnion, and she's not good looking either, I don't know how she's lasted even this long! 😕 I don't know if she has a future in the industry, if she does, I don't know how good it will be!

* If you could change the lead actors in this movie, who would you choose instead of Tusshar, Shreyas and Udita?

Well, if it is a sequel to Aksar, I'm wondering why the male leads in the film have changed! 🤔 I'm trying to remember how Aksar ended! Hehe! Well, I guess if I had to re-cast, then I'd have the sexy woman character played by Mallika Sherawat, the obsessive lover played by Emraan Hashmi and the psychiatrist husband played by Milind Soman! (I don't know, this is considering that the "bigger" stars of B'wood wouldn't be in this movie)! Hehe!

*What can u say about the story of the movie? Is it going to be a hit with the audience in India?...the story as usual sounds the same like any other movies with extra-marital affair...nothing new about it....and as for the audience in India i can say is they r probably tired of watching the same kind of movies so i think it wont be a hit...probably 2/5..

* Is the cast appropriate for the characters in the movie?...i dont know..its different..

*What do you think of Tusshar Kapoor as an actor? Do you think he would had lasted this long in the Film Industry if it wasn't for his family?....he is okay..he has done some good roles in the past and he can still do better...his family has been supportive especially his sister..but now i think he is more concentrating on doing something for himself....he is good and i think he will make it one day...

*Do you think he fits the role of a crazy and obsessed lover?..cant really tell till i see him...but its good that he is trying something new instead of that same lover boy roles....

*How would you rate Shreyas Talpade as an actor? Have you seen his other movies? Did you like them?....he is good...just saw one of his movie but he was good in there...heard a lot about him in iqbal and he also won awards so he must have done a good job...

Does she have a good future in the film industry?...he is okay not that great...her performances have been up to expectations so far but i think now she should experiment on new roles...I guess she will stick in the industry if she gets good roles...
