It was a casting coup of sorts when Vishal Bhardwaj managed to get Saif Ali Khan and Shahid Kapoor for a film together. Though both the actors have individually worked with Vishal in the past, neither expected them to agree to work together " considering Shahid dated Kareena Kapoor Khan in the past and Saif is now married to her. The casting coup would have gone a step further had Bebo been chosen to play the leading lady and our sources insist that was being discussed as well. "Saif was very keen that Bebo be signed for the role. In fact, Shahid too was of the opinion that Kareena would be the apt choice for the role. The makers however, weren't too convinced with the idea and wanted a different actress for the part. Until now, no one has been finalised but it does not look like Kareena will be a part of the film," our source reveals.
