First of all even though Kareena is the much better actress of the two. I dont think she acted that well in heroine. It was a really poorly written one dimensional character. The script itself was all over the place with no focus. They only point the film really made clearly was that everyone in bollywood is evil and out to get you. At many points I felt Kareena tried too hard.

Aishwarya was given a different script so you never now. They could have written it more with keeping her capabilities and strengths in mind.

Very few actresses can raise above a poor script. Kareena was at least convincing in some parts..rai would have fallen flat in the entire movie. Acting was never her forte. She is Ashwarya rai playing dress up in every movie..same way of smiling, laughing, giggling, crying..
