He is a hurt father so like a sawan ka aandha he sees what he wants to see. I think he went overboard. Still sulking over the marriage of his daughter who herself now is mother of three grown up daughters.

Dinesh ka rishta tut gaya tha. Are yaar, his wife is standing there. Have some patience before blurting out the truth.

I think GN was talking about what happened 25 years back and that too in a place like Banaras...and his aim was to mention the consequences of Sneha's elopement...I didn't find it strange as such things do happen...as far talking in front of Dimple is concerned...nothing wrong she needs to know about the past of her husband's family.

I also said this because the place is Benaras. Such things happens for sure but In small towns or cities the head of the family also don't give such detailed information for family secrets, not to the whole family and definitely not at this hour. Forget Dimple, what about Jazz ? Is she old enough to know the truth about her parents this way?

He is a hypocrite. He is annoyed because of ucchi awaz Amaya made before him but at the same time he is insulting a dead man in front of his children. I think Sanskar should work both ways. I think not every detail is for the children and Chaubey should learn it first before talking about Indian Sanskar.

As for the bahu of the house, ideally she should have known the truth long before. Not now when he is frustrated, when his ego has been hurt. Not 25 years later. . That's why I said I hate Chaubey's chauvinism. He won't let her know about Sneha and her family but when he went to the police station and she came to know about it accidentally, she will be told every detail in a derisive manner.

I clearly understand and appreciate your perspective...
Being a fiction story and that too on the Indian telly world a drama is required, hence I just ignore or forbid myself going in such details...if I will, then surely I won't be able to continue with them...and has happened with me several times in the past.

After todays episode my gut feeling has become stronger, when Chaubey was saying that Rishi only got married to Sneha for money, Sneha said that is not true and said woh toh, she stopped right there did not finish what she was sying. CV's will not reveal everything just yet, I feel more history on the past will be shown later. I maybe wrong but this is what I feel.

exactly i feel the same
