Deconstructing Manik's growth

It's been a while since I wrote something and since I cannot do the brilliant testimonials please consider this as a show of affection and to celebrate the 100th AT.

Psychological growth is growth that increases our capacity for external accomplishment and inner fulfillment.

His response to challenges

We grow when we are challenged to be at our best and exceed ourselves. That challenge may come from life in the form of serious difficulties or great opportunities. It can also come from inside. Nandu has challenged his perfectly manicured notions from the word go but notice the transition in Manik's responses. Initially it mirrored a reflex action, a muscle twitch but now there is a coordinated response which involves the corticospinal tracts...sigh...Baby to Baba.

Raise values

We challenge ourselves to excel by pursuing high goals. We also do it by pursuing high values. Values are spiritual ideals of perfection than we strive to express under the imperfect conditions of life. Values are spiritual skills. See how Baba has raised his values...cockblocking be damned. Our physically expressive baby is pursuing such high goals. The restraint dammit...it's killing us but Manik is levitating now,what with all the spirituality and good karma.😳

Expand his awareness

Just take a moment to savour this point, Baba's acute awareness has made him dig deep,really deep and all his unutilized capacities have made him overcome his mental obstacles to reach a higher place.😆

Organise

Organization converts energy into power for accomplishment. The more organized you are, the greater the results you can achieve. Baba solving puzzles,using Internet for crime solving and cracking Pandits code. Not only that he is going to use his indefatigable sleuth skills to show that Pandit who the real baws is. My eyes are welling up,Baba is so awesome.⭐️

Skilled

To perform any act perfectly we require skill. The greater the skill we possess, the less the time and effort needed to perform the action and the greater the result achieved. We require a wide range of physical, social, psychological and spiritual growth. Ummm well Baba has the skills now show me some action Bas...😭

Manik's beliefs were challenged when Nandini barged into his life like a whirlwind and threatened to topple the ideologies he believed in and the peace of his carefully cultivated notion of the world. They were like north pole n south pole, fire and water and were destined to clash. His fiery personality threatened to consume her tiny self but he was met with resistance from her calm and composed demeanour. He tried harder but fated as they were, his fire slowly began to douse and simmer before being completely washed away by her wit, her charm, her resilience and her zest for life.

With her by his side, Manik began to introspect, to discover himself and consider him capable of love, of affection. His empathy for others, his capacity to give without asking anything in return, his capability of feeling was always buried deep inside in d recesses of his soul but it was Nandini who showed him the path to enlightenment so to speak.

Nandini's structured, organised and practical mind had always appealed to Manik and he unconsciously imbibed her qualities to try and bring order to his life. Nandni's strong sense of rationalism gave way to his impulsiveness and he began to introspect, to question, to think before jumping to absolute conclusions.

Baba has always had d skill, but he lacked d drive. It is Nandini who showed him d way out of his darkness and it is she for whom he will continue to strive towards excellence for. He is lost without her and it is she who gives him the reason to fight and to hone his skills(whatever they may be 😆).

He will wait for her till d end of time and it will be her all his actions (physical or otherwise) will be centered towards. We just have to fasten our seatbelts and wait for d joyride to commence. Coz, change like everything else that matters is a long,slow,deep and an initially painful process.😛
