Malaika, Arbaaz turn to production

The couple had recently finalized plans to start a movie with big brother, Salman Khan, in the lead. The couple has registered two companies, Angel Heart Productions and Angel & Devil Productions.

Arbaaz wasn't very forthcoming about their plans of getting into film production but he did acknowledge the fact. "Yes we are considering getting into production but there no films lined up yet," says Arbaaz.

However, a friend of the couple says that before Salman's imprisonment the couple was very clear about their company and the plans they have for it. "They definitely plan to get into film and TV production. They have some ideas in mind which should materialize soon. But obviously with Salman's current case nothing but getting Salman out is on their mind," says the friend.

He adds that Malaika has always been very keen about production and is looking to get into programs that she knows she is good at like fashion and style. "She has a very good business sense plus she connects with today's generation. She is always looked at for sense of dressing and therefore it would only make sense for her to start with something she is good at!"

The source adds that there are no plans of making any formal announcement just yet. The couple first plans to get their deals signed before they make any announcements to the outside world. However close friends are well aware of the couple's production plans.

Currently Arbaaz is in Jodhpur where Salman has been imprisoned. A Lower Court sentenced him to five years imprisonment for shooting a Chinkara – an endangered species.
