Sorry for a VERY late reply.
Coming to your post, it is absolutely balanced between Salim and his parents. You have understood the situation on either side and have mentioned validly how both sides need to come forward and build a bond.
It is important for Jalal to talk to Salim and try to understand his POV. Instead of always just punishing him. This talking should be more than the "talks" we have seen so far. They should be man-to-man.
Salim also should take advantage of the opportunities he gets to present his POV instead of wasting those chances by being rude to his parents and brothers.
While the parent-child relationship is important, both sides also have to remember that they are the ruler and his heir. So they cannot afford to let things fester between them. Or that would have a negative impact on their kingdom and people.
Jalal should trust Jodha and Salim and involve them in his decision making now. If at times, he cannot involve them due to some reason, he should explain to them, right at the beginning, that they should trust him and he would tell them everything as soon as he can.
Salim should also trust his father and not rely solely on what happened earlier. Because people and circumstances change - they don't always remain static.
I so wish the CVs were as balanced and sensible as you, Ayushi. Then we would have better tracks.
Thanks so much for sharing such wonderful thoughts. 🤗
