Karan Johar produced Shuddhi' will star Salman Khan as male lead but it is yet to be revealed who will be his leading lady. Reports now suggest that both Sonakshi Sinha and Jacqueline Fernandez are favourites for the role.

Khan has a good rapport with both actresses and it seems they are the ones who will eventually be chosen between for the film, which was initially meant to star Kareena Kapoor Khan opposite Hrithik Roshan.

Shuddhi' is expected to go on the floors soon, as confirmed by Johar.

The film will be directed by Karan Malhotra.

i don't get why he won't take deepika?

sonakshi or jackie with salman is just not exciting

I'd like it to be Sonakshi.

It seems the movie has a good role for the female protagonist, or at least it used to when Kareena and Hrithik were attached. If they haven't completed revamped the female role in favor of making it all about Salman, this could be the right project for Sonkshi to showcase her talent again. She was, by far, the best thing about Lootera.

I don't think its true. Until KJO confirms it, these are just speculations.

If its gonna be Jacky then why not Katrina then? Salman Katrina make AMAZING pair!

Sonakshi well just NO! I never liked them as a pair.

I hope its Deepika, Priyanka, Karishma, or Preity. I would love to see Aish but thats just impossible. Would love to see Kat but shuddhi is not just her type of movie.

I want Kjo and karan malhotra to take Jacqueline she makes a great jodi with Salman the best Salman looked with anyone after Karishma is Jacqueline in my opinion.

Will Shuddhi break the record of Paani... for the longest time in BW history to make news b4 going to the floor?

I think Kjo is just waiting for court verdicts more than salman.. hez got a sid though.

Who is going to watch Shuddhi if Sid jumps in? Kjo wouldnt be able to sell the movie. 😆
