Ek Paheli Leela had a poor weekend of around 11.50 crore nett apprx. The film had a fair start at single screens on Friday morning but the writing was on the wall as the second show at single screens showed a noticeable drop.

The multiplex business was a total letdown as the film did not open and it had to show solid growth on Saturday but it did not happen. Infact Dharam Sankat Mein had better collections at most of the premium properties across India over the weekend.

The film has reasonable costs but still needed a 15 crore nett approx weekend to succeed but it is well short. It now needs to hold very well on weekdays but the trend over the weekend suggest that is a difficult task.

11.50 crs a poor weekend? 😆 Sunny's power alone made it happen. 😉

I have seen movies with 50 or was it 5 lacs opening with like 100 fans on the forum.
