I am Ok with Dad's Second Marriage with Sridevi - Arjun K

Over the years, there have been speculations surrounding Arjun Kapoor's relationship with his father, Boney Kapoor. Putting an end to all speculations, the actor says he has a healthy relationship with his father and does not hold the past against him.

Opening up to Filmfare, Arjun said, "My father knows that I am okay with what happened in the past (referring to Boney Kapoor's second marriage with Sridevi). If I wasn't, I wouldn't be working with him. I don't hold anything against him. Those conversations have all happened in the past - his side of the story, my emotions, my mother's, my sister Anshula's side... every aspect of the journey has been spoken about. It's not that I have gone to the media to convey things to him. He respects that. There are choices people make and those choices have certain consequences. We have dealt with it internally."

Boney Kapoor was first married to Arjun's mother, the late Mona Kapoor, but also got married to actress Sridevi in 1996 when Arjun and his sister, Anshula, were young children.

Though much is not known of Arjun's equation with Sridevi and his step-sister's Jhanvi and Khushi, his relationship with his father appears positive. The father and son duo worked together for their last release, Tevar' (2015).

😆 That was the first thought I had too, that I don't think either Boney or Sridevi care about his opinion on their marriage.

And why is he talking about this again? And then claiming he hasn't gone to the media to convey things to him? Well maybe not to convey things to him but he's certainly conveyed things to the public. Which part of this does his father respect? And even in an interview claiming to be OK with things he still managed to stick a dig in there about how his father's actions had consequences that affected him, his mother and his sister.

Is he asked about it or does he keep bringing it up himself?

The Deols are better in this sense. Never discuss their father's decision in public.

Gawd Arjun keeps whining & its gotten unbearable off late..Initially i felt sorry for him & loved how he handled these questions but now he needs to stop..Stop overdoing the ' broken & damaged boy' image 😆
