All that Amar had heard till now was... "She's unconscious...they are taking her to the hospital... N that was it...

Vinti: Who are you talking about Als??

But before Alisha could answer this...

Amar: Sh..Shakti..!!

Amar was still numb..he was just looking straight ahead...without any emotions..he managed to answer somehow...

Alisha : How did u know??

Amar : I have no idea how I know... I felt so...wh...where, which hospital..??

Alisha : Criti - care hospital...

Amar : I have to go there...bye Alisha Arch...

All this while, Charlie was just watching all of this...but when Amar decided to leave the party just to meet Shakti...it was too much for her...she had to interrupt...

Charlie : baby...why have you to leave this awesome party...just to go to the hospital.??

Amar : Charlie m not just going to visit that hospital... I need to see Shakti...I need to see if she's good or not...

Charlie : there are a plenty of people there with her...u need not go...look... this is such an awesome party let's enjoy...come forget about her...

Now this frustrated Amar to the heights..here he is worried about Shakti and his so-called girlfriend is not even bothered...rather she's telling him to forget about her n enjoy the party..?!? He was not going to take this crap...

Amar : what do you mean forget about her??...how can I forget her...its Shakti for god's sake...and right now I just don't care about anybody...nor this party...not even YOU...

charlie : b..but b..baby..!?! She does not need you right now...she has her family with her...you don't have to go there for her...

Amar : your right I don't have to go there for her.. I have to go there for my sake...bye..

He left...followed by Alisha and Vinti...Archie had to stay back to attend his guests...

He couldn't stand there for long...he had to see her anyhow... He had to see if she's okay...his heartbeat was racing so fast he thought his heart would come out any moment...

Driving crazily throughout the way... He finally reached that hospital...

At the reception..

Amar : excuse me...shakti...shakti mohan ???

Receptionist : yes sir...she's in the opd...straight and left...

Amar : thank you...

When Amar reached there he found Shakti on the bed who was conscious by now... with a saline put up to her right hand and a doctor attending her...he was broken...his ever so shining shukdi was on a hospital bed...he was so angry with her...for not taking care of herself...he wanted to just go to her...hug her tight and shout at her for her carelessness... But seeing Shakti's family there he had to compose himself...

Everybody was in her hospital room talking to her... And she was behaving as if nothing ever happened to her...Amar was just standing at the door...admiring her as he always does...

Her twinkling eyes..which change their color every second ...and her cute silly expressions which change constantly every 1.5 seconds...yes 1.5 he had actually measured it...how beautifully she dances...his shakti...HIS no not his..

Mukti : Hey kunwar...I didn't know u wer cumng too...

And with this he was out of his dreamworld...

When he looked around he found out that he had entered the hospital room he never realized .. Alisha n Vinti were already inside...where did they come from...?? Ohh who cares..as long as he had seen Shakti out of danger...

When he looked at her she was already looking at him with a what-are-you-doing-here look...their eyes met and that was it... They had forgotten about the world around them...she could see care and concern for her in his light brown orbs... And he...well, he had already drowned in her eyes...

Mukti had realized this and she decided to get them out of their dreamworld before anybody else catches them...she repeats her question...

Mukti : Kunwar...you here..??

Hearing this Shakti broke the eye lock and was now throwing daggers at her baby sister...

Kunwar ?? Dare you call him Kunwar again...he's Amar for you... Mukti realized she was in bad shit...and now was looking at Shakti apologetically...

Amar: I came here to see her...how are feeling now Shakti..??

Shakti did not reply...she needed privacy and he too... with her...

and Mukti has always been an angel in that case...

Mukti : mom dad... I think Shaks fine now you both should go home... Am there here with her...

Shakti : Neeti Di, Kriti Di please get mom dad home... And don't worry Mukti would be here with me and am fine see...

and she twinkles her eyes as always...making Amar smile and chuckle inwardly...

Doctor reassures them that she will have to be admitted for the night only till her glucose levels and blood pressure comes back to normal...

Understanding Mukti's plan Alisha and Vinti move out with Shakti's family but only after winking at her...

So everybody is gone leaving Mukti, Amar and Shakti in the room...

Mukti : I'll get the medicines...till then Ku..I mean Amar...u can give her company...

Amar : more than pleased to do that.. giving her a big thank-you smile...

Finally...finally he is there right in front of her...its only him and her now...

Amar: so Miss.Shakti Mohan you would be happy to be in the hospital yeah...

Shakti : what???

Amar : yes...how many times have I told you to not compromise on food..??.why don't u listen dammit??

She knew she was in deep mess..but somehow she had to prove her point after all she's The Shakti Mohan...she sat up straight on her bed...took a deep breath and...

Shakti : Kunwar I had rehearsals... There was no way but to skip lunch.. I did not do it intentionally...

Amar's eyes opened wide...he hurriedly came and sat in front of her on her bed...

Amar : what?? you skipped lunch...??? How could you do this...?? You know your blood pressure drops immediately...

He was angry really angry...on Shakti, Tushar or himself..?? .he dint know...but Shakti was not going to back off..

Shakti : rehearsals were important Kunwar please understand...

Amar : what kind of shit rehearsals are you doing with that damn Tushar...that you did not have time even for lunch... ????? How can he tell you to skip lunch..??

His eyes burning with anger and jealousy...well the latter being unknown to him..

Shakti : Kunwar that's it... why the hell are u cursing Tushar ??? What wrong did he do?? am an adult..I can take my decisions...and It was my decision to not have lunch...

Amar : yeah right... And then end up in this hospital... And scare the shit out of everybody...and me...

Shakti : atleast I got to meet you after so long... She replied chuckling... Now how can Amar resist that...

Both of them burst out laughing...

Amar : who gave this quality of cracking a perfect off joke in the perfect situation...

But suddenly his eyes were dark...he was just looking down at his knitted fingers..

Shakti : what happened...??

Amar : when Alisha said you are admitted... So many thoughts started coming to me... It was as if my world has stopped...

He cupped her in both his palms tenderly and continued...

I died a thousand deaths Shaktu...if anything would have happened to you... I would have---

He need not continue...he knew she understood him..more than his own self...she placed her palms on his hands which were still on her cheeks..

Shakti : I know kunwar...I understand what you would have gone through...its the same with me..Can I get a hug...?? He pouted..

Amar : hey you stole my line...!!

Shakti chuckled and both hugged each other never letting the other back out...they remained like that for almost a forever... After all it was their cocooned place far away from the real world...only until..

Mukti had to clear her throat to get them back...

Mukti : Amar... Its very late I think you should leave too..am here with Shaks...don't worry she'll be good...

Shakti : Muks is right Kunwar...u should get going...m fine don't worry..and I guess Charlie would be waiting..

He did not miss her eyes turning dark with the last line... See this is shakti ...she wants me to go back to her...and my so called girlfriend...??arghh..!! Forget it.. Ignoring Charlie's name...

Amar : I'll be waiting here with Shakti...entire night.. in this room... I'll sleep on the other couch...and that's the end of topic no more discussion...

Now who had the guts to go against him...

Mukti : hehe..okk I'll get your dinner Shaks...

Amar : no I'll go and get food for all of us...your sister wants you too...

And he went leaving both the sisters laughing on his antiques...

When he came back... Mukti was fast asleep on the bed that was arranged for her... And shakti was reading a novel...when she saw him..she placed her finger on her lips indicating him to not disturb mukti...

He carefully without making a noise came n sat in front of shakti with her dinner plate in his hands...

Amar : now without any nonsense... Eat..

He held out the spoon to her mouth...she smiled at his gestures and innocently ate up...finishing her plate clean...

Amar : now that's like a good girl... Here drink water...

Taking the glass from his hand she replied...

Shakti : But you are not a good boy... What about your dinner?? Get your plate here..now I'll feed u...

Amar smiled...went n got his plate..and placed it in shakti's hands..he was loving this...

This time she held the spoon to his mouth..but before he could eat it...his phone started vibrating...flashing the name 'Charlie' but to shakti's amazement he rejected it...

Shakti : why did u cut her call?? She must be worrying about u...

Amar : she's not worrying..she wants me home...but m not going so doesn't matter...

Shakti : but kunwar---

Amar : shhh...don't stress urself...and feed me m hungry...

Seeing him pout shakti had no other option but to do as he says...

Amar : okay now dinner done...time to sleep...u need rest...come on lie down...

Holding the back of her neck lightly...n sending shivers down her spine because of his touch... He made her lie down on the bed...

He sat there beside her on her bed and they kept on talking...shakti did not know when sleep caught up with her...

She thought she was dreaming when she felt him kiss her forehead and say "good night jaan"...
