Morning had a different shine in it today... The sun rays coming inside the room from the window were disturbing him... Getting irritated he finally opened his eyes only to see his sleeping beauty right in front of him... HIS..no not his...

Yawning a little he sat up...n looked around in the room...Mukti was nowhere to be seen maybe she's gone to get breakfast... N Shakti was peacefully sleeping...

Her face glowing in the morning bright light...her lips with a shade of pink in it and a faint smile... May be he knew why she had this smile... Her brownish black hairs which were spread a bit on her face n slightly were disturbing her... She looked angelic... He couldn't help but wish to see this face every morning of his life... But somehow he knew this was not going to happen...

Before he knew it he was walking towards her bed... He sat next to her on her bed and watched her sleep... He slightly grazed his fingers on her face with no intention of waking her up and tucked a few hair strands behind her ear... He was busy admiring her... When she opened her eyes and smiled at him... His heart skipped a beat... O god.. This smile is infectious.. How can a mere smile brighten me up so much..?? The most beautiful smile ever... He couldn't help but smile back at her...

Shakti : Good morning kunwar..

Amar : Good morning shukdi... Did I wake you up??

Shakti : No it was just time for me to get up..

They were disturbed when Mukti entered with their breakfast in her hand...

Mukti : Good morning guys... Well the way both of you were sleeping I thought you wouldn't get up any time soon... Did you both sleep late in the night..??

ArSha remembered the last night they had been feeding each other and talking all nonsense... They smiled at each other and answered together...

ArSha : Not much late...

Mukti was amused with their answer but she was not convinced... Chucking the thought aside...

Mukti : very well then... Let's have breakfast am starving...

Amar and Shakti both chuckled at the expression she made...

Amar : Bhukkad kahi ki... And received a glare from mukti... He continued...

Amar : you both have breakfast... I'll ask the doctor about your discharge...OK?

Shakti : Kunwar wait... What about your breakfast..??

Amar : am still full Shakti.. I am ok... But you are going to finish that... No excuses.. I'll be back...

Shakti widened her eyes... Blinked at him and said saluting him...

Shakti : Yes Sir...

And both chuckled together... Amar left to fetch the doctor...

Mukti : Amar really cares for u... He waited here entire night... For you only you.. That's so sweet of him...

Shakti frowned at her and as if thinking something she almost murmured...

Shakti : for me only me?? Really?? No... Muks its not for me only.. He cares so much for all his friends...

Mukti : Shaks... I really don't get this... Are you so naive that you don't understand his feelings.. Or you don't want to understand them...??? And him ?? Well I will say I have not seen such a stupid before who is so wrongly trying to hide all this...

Shakti : Muks please we have talked about this before and I don't want to start it again... We are just good friends that's it...

I don't have that courage... To go to him, tell him that I...I love him... I fear this would jeopardize our friendship... I don't want to lose a friend like him... May be I am just a good friend to him... If I tell him about my feelings and he doesn't feel the same... It would be such an embarrassment... I will never be able to face him again... I wish.. I just wish Kunwar if you would feel the same... But it's too late now.. You have Charlie in your life and I know you love her alot... you are happy with her... And that's what matters...Charlie is a lucky girl...

Her thoughts were broken..

Mukti : Earth calling Ms. Mohan... You know.. both of u are 1st class idiots...you would never understand this...

Doctor entered her room followed by Amar...

Doctor : Oh you look good Shakti.. how are you feeling??

Shakti : very good doctor... Thank you...

Doctor : you should thank Amar n your sister...it's because of them that you have recovered faster... She smiled at the doctor n then looked at Amar... N their eyes locked she mouthed him a 'Thank you' and turned her attention back to doctor who was checking her Blood Pressure..

Doctor : Your BP is normal Shakti ... You can be discharged now.. But yes you have to keep a check on your diet... You can't afford to miss your meals now...

Amar : I'll take care about that doctor... Then eyeing Shakti he continued.. She has done a lot of mess according to her will.. Now its time for me to take control...

Shakti : Kunwar..?!?

Mukti : he's right Shaks...

Doctor : okay... I'll get the discharge papers ready.. & mukti you have to come along to sign it...

Mukti : sure doctor... And Amar I think you should go home too.. Neeti Di is coming to take us home...

Amar : okay I'll leave... Just give me a minute...

Mukti : OK u have time till I return... Mind it..

N she followed the doctor laughing... Leaving these two alone...

Amar went and sat with Shakti on her bed.. He took her soft hands in his..looked straight into her brown orbs.. And..

Amar : Shakti I don't want you to skip your meals.. I don't know what kind of rehearsals your doing but whatsoever you have to take care of yourself for my sake at least.. I wish I would be there with you all the time... But both of us know its not possible..I can't see you lying on a hospital bed again...I can't afford a heart attack again.. Please take care...

Shakti chuckled at the last line...

Shakti : thank you Kunwar... For staying here with me throughout the night...I know I scared the hell out of everybody and you.. And am sorry about it.. I promise I'll take care.. But only on one condition.. She said pouting..

Amar frowned n gave her a puzzled look..

Amar : what condition??

Shakti : You have to come to Jhalak house.. To see my rehearsals..once at least..please..

Amar : well definitely...uh...maybe..!!

And both of them burst out laughing..

He parked his car just outside his building...and stepped into the elevator.. He was hell tired.. He had not been home since last night... But although he had a smile on his face... A happy and contented smile... He was happy that she is well... N she was glowing like before when he last saw her today... He still couldn't forget her face that he saw today morning.. The purest beauty... All in all..he was happy...

The elevator opened and he was in front of his main door... He saw that it was unlocked..may be mahhi di and jay bhaiya were here... So he pressed the doorbell... But not much to his amazement it was Charlie...

Amar : Charlie..? I didn't know you were home... I thought you would have gone back to your house...

Charlie : why?? Can I not come to your place..?? Or am I not allowed anymore...

She was fuming... She was so angry...she thought as if she was insulted..

Amar came in..and closed the door behind him... He was already mad at her for the party incident but still he was trying to keep calm...

Amar : Charlie why are you talking like that..?? Of course you can come here...

Charlie : oh really... I thought may be you would get Shakti here now... You know she needs you..

Amar : Charlie that's it... What the hell is wrong with you... Why are you blaming Shakti for no reason... Listen she's my friend... I care for her a lot and I have to be with her when she needs me...

Charlie : Yeah and be with her the entire night... To hell with your girlfriend right..??

Amar : I did not say that.. Why are you creating a fuss??

Charlie : you left me in the party alone... Did not come back to drop me home... And when I called you.. You rejected it...and your coming home here in the morning and you expect me to say good morning... When I know you spent the night with your so called BFF...

Amar : Spent the night!!!! Are you mad... She was in the hospital Damn It... I was there to keep a check on her... And you know what Charlie.. she told me to go home.. She even said you would me waiting for me so I should be home... But it was my decision to stay...

Charlie claps sarcastically...

Charlie : wow.. What an actor she is... Amazing.. She gets successful in making you go to the hospital.. And then she behaves as if she cares for me so much... OMG am so blessed.. You don't understand...She's playing games with you...she's very desperate to get u... Because your mine..

Amar : Charlie..!!! Shut the hell up right now or you'll regret it... I didn't know you think so low about Shakti...Games..?? Shakti does NOT play games.. unlike you... Get that straight... I didn't know you.. of all the people would talk such cheap things... I don't want to see you.. Leave NOW..

Charlie : baby..?!? Because of that bloody Shakti your telling me to leave your house??

Amar: am telling you to leave my life...Am not yours anymore... Being with you was the biggest mistake of my life... And now that I have seen what you really are.. Its better to end it...we're over Charlie...

Charlie : OK... I knew this would happen.. Because your under her spell right now... Forget it.. Am leaving...

And with this Charlie leaves Amar's house banging the door shut behind her...

Amar.. Well Amar was still stunned with what she said about Shakti... He went to the kitchen grabbed a bottle of chilled water from the fridge.. Came and sat on the couch drinking water... It was over... Charlie was his past now.. Presently he was just him... And future.. Well he would like to have what he has always wished for... But was that even possible..?!?!?
