Serdevi- Kareena is apprently now serious about her work. She saying the best is yet to come. And it shows through the kind of films she has signed...UP and Sanjay Gupta's film.

about Fevicol se being only popular because of the song and production. I have to disagree there. I think Kareena ads big time to her songs. Just watch the reaction she gets in the cinema when she comes on for her item songs like Fevicol se and Chamak Challo. People love her more for her charisma/energy and expressions and beauty not really for her dancing. Not just Kareena, any star ads somthing extra to a song they are part of. Look at Dance Basanti song that Sharadha did. That song was so good. Dance was good (shraddha is a good dancer)- but the song failed to get the hype kareena and katrina songs bring in. Because Shradha does not have the fan following Kareena and katrina have. And she ads nothing special to her songs...she is basically boring IMO. Even when you watch the making of the song...the director is yelling more energy more energy every second to Shradha. She was literally falling asleep while danicng.

Dance Basanti is the 2nd most viewed video in Youtube by DharmaProductions . It got nearly 14 million views only ther. And for the 2nd official upload from sonymusicindia it also got 5 and half million views. The song managed to be a chartbuster, but the film seemed to be weak.

I think in cases of Kajol and Aishwarya it was their choices to take time off for their kids. Madhuri and Sridevi was a combination of getting married at the wrong era (I keep repeating this word but it is amazing how much Bollywood has changed from the 90s and early 2000s) and also their ages are catching up with them. Ash, Kareena and even to an extent Kajol still look young or young'sh for their age. Sridevi and Madhuri don't.
